Edit of my review: I installed the camera indoors and adjusted the zoom and focus as needed in the room I am monitoring. When I wrote my original review, the camera was set somewhere between wide angle and telephoto, and the image was at least fairly good, but I now have it set at wide angle, and the focus is set as best as it can be set at, but the image is not sharp at all and even looks "smeary" in some areas. Another camera I tried at this location with same cable is just fine. I downgraded my rating from 3 stars to just 2 stars. I would not recommend this camera if you need a sharp image, and there are better cameras available at cheaper prices, especially if you do NOT need manually adjustable zoom and focus. I needed it (well, "wanted it"), and bought this one. As usual, you only get what you pay for, if you are lucky.The camera's image is quite good, but I cannot use it outdoors according to the instruction sheet, warning you not to expose it to the rain to prevent "electrical shock or fire". Kind of puts a damper (Pun intended) on me using it where I intended.Also, another reviewer of a similar camera mentioned that adjusting that camera was very difficult even with the locking ring loosened.This camera has the same difficulty. I purchased a different but similar camera to this one, which is dark silver in color, and it allows easy adjustment when you need to. Once the camera is aimed correctly, it will be a non issue until you need to move it again.I am not too happy with the "keep out of the rain" warning, and I'll need to use this camera indoors. It should cost less if it cannot be used outdoors, especially coming with the warning.

I bought 9 of these cameras and I am quite satisfied with them. Image quality is very good. The only issue is that the camera does not get tight enough in the housing.
