Travel vacuum storage bags are very good for compressing clothes while traveling .. the bags are very strong and easy to pump . I am the frequent traveler and i am looking these kind of bangs then brought this one , i am happy that my luggage everything fits in single bags with out any problems . Good choice for more items with small luggage room

Would have given 5 stars, but the first one broke from rough shipping, so that tells me that this is product is a bit fragile and will need to be packed with care. Other than that, however, it's great! Works perfect with the "MagicBag" bags I got from Walmart, so I'm confident it'll truly work with most other brands. I did a test run with a kigurumi (a large fleece onesie that is notorious for taking up way too much space in convention luggage). It flattened it down to half the size easily, so I'm pleased it'll do even better with less cumbersome pieces. It's a bit slow, but that can be expected with a compact travel sized pump. I'll take a slower suction rate for ease of throwing it into my travel bags just fine. All in all, other than being a little fragile, this is a solid product. Would recommend for those who travel often and struggle with over packing like I do!

We use it for packing on trips. It cuts down on space in suitcases and makes it easier to keep things organized inside suitcases. It's also great afterward for storing out of season items.

Zip loc bags do not work with vacuum. The vacuum works great with bags that come with vacuum

It gave me space in my carrier-on suitcase, but wrinkle my thin clothes.

For traveling it's nice to reduce the size of packed items, but if you intend to bring them home, you need to repeat the effort when repacking, so the concept of this sort of thing is great. Good to keep in mind though that the unit itself is relatively large and heavy, and reducing the volume of packed items does not reduce their weight so the more you can get in a suitcase, the heavier it will be. This unit has to be plugged in to work and is rather slow, plus it doesn't remove all the air reliably, but is helpful when away from home as long as an outlet is available. You also need to be aware that items prone to wrinkles will need attention after being released from compression. It's great for fleece items, though, socks and underwear, sweatshirts and the like. It is intuitive to use and has directions as well. The bags included are relatively sturdy and sized to fit in suitcases. The bag closure tab is not connected and can be easy to lose, but that's the same as all 'space bags'. It's not easy to achieve good bag closure without the tab so keep track of it.

I use these to keep blankets under the bed and for packing for our cross country road trips. These work great. They compress easy and stay compressed. Haven't had any problems with them leaking. The vacuum pump is amazing. It's very portable and small, fits in my suitcase or center console in the car. It sucks the air out fairly quickly.
