Fry's Chocolate Cream - 3 x 49g

Delicious and exactly what was described.

Hasn't changed a bit. Love the orangey flavored fondant filling. Doesn't travel well tho. Even in winter it was a gooey mess opening it. I wouldn't think of buying this in summer.

Way too sweet did not expect white cream center. Bought because longest selling chocolate world wide article. Not sure how they have stayed in business. These ere stocking stuffer at Xmas.

Knowing that English made chocolates have a good reputation I bought the vanilla and orange bars expecting something special. These were just a sticky, mediocre candy that are more akin to a dollar store bar!

I love dark chocolate butter creams...my favorite was Fannie May, but living in FLorida the shipping was too rich for my pocket book! Chocolate does melt pretty easily and this chocolate did melt on its way to me, even though it is winter time. Fry's chocolate is very good. My favorite is the Orange.

Good chocolate

I bought these fry bars to settle a wager. One camp held forth that these bars were mint flavoured, another camp insisted they were not. My own memory suggested to me that mint was the order of the day. The packaging places the bar firmly in the mint genre as it is not much more than a hop, skip and a jump from the design of a toothpaste tube. This bar claims to be the oldest chocolate bar in continual production and is a firm favorite with the grandmother set. Quite simply it comes from an era when the only flavour was mint. All signs pointed to mint. Boy was I wrong. To my great surprise it did not taste of mint at all. After eating the bar I still have no idea what it tasted like, except for the fact that it didn’t taste like mint. In fact nowhere on the package was mint even mentioned. There was no tiny green mint leaf snuck away in a corner. Perhaps all those years ago I was eating these bars right after brushing my teeth?
