I purchased this portable seat hoping to use it for v-steaming and it worked perfectly! I placed an infrared electric single burner and a cast iron pot filled with water and herbs (all from Amazon) beneath it. The seat is high enough off the ground that I didn't feel too close to the steam. It's also relatively comfortable though I did need to adjust after about 20 minutes of sitting in place. If you use it for steaming purposes I'd suggest moving it to where you can rest your back against a wall, as there's no back support. Aside from that it serves me well every week and I'd recommend it. I'm sure it'll work great as a portable commode as well, but I haven't used it for that purpose.

I know this stool is for toilet purposes but i wanted to find a good stool to start doing Yoni Steams and not spend an arm and a leg on a seat (which i have nothing against it) and it’s pretty sturdy and lightweight for traveling.....my weight currently is around 195 and it supports up to 250 (from what the description stated) so far no complaints and shipping was quick and easy. 💯💯

I've camped my entire life but just recently bought this to use with toilet in a bag. I was camping in a place that recommends the use of a wag bag so I got this. It makes camping so much easier! It's lightweight, folds up, and the bags fits easily over the seat. Highly recommend!!!

Omg this got us through our trip. It folds compact which was really needed at one point. It is comfortable. Sometimes u have to take your time and this lets you. Great inside the tent. we also put the front passenger seat all the Way forward (Sedan) and it fits behind it on the floor in front of the back seat. Then you can go in the car with a towel over your lap and it’s great. Also underestimated need for senior on trip to have something to sit on. So it was used as campfire stool with pad placed on top. You couldn’t tell it was a toilet looked just like a folding stool and was a lifesaver. Also the senior wound up using it in nature as an assist to squatting. So overall very versatile. Also super easy to clean with a Clorox wipe.For bags we used Biffy bags when #2, and costco white 13 gallon scented trash Bags w/gel absorbent Commode pads for #1.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LBXGLTI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1.We were in bear country part of the trip so those nights were The biffy bags only to reduce scent.Only other notes is I sometimes found hard to predict if #2 would also happen. TMI but mentioning Because we went through more biffy bags than had expected as erred on stride of caution there. Still used the other method a lot too so good to have both. Also had scent locking bag that these all went into until trash available that day or next day. Never had any smells until about 12 - 18 hrs in. So if you can get to a trash once a day it’s great.

After just several weeks of use, this product is starting to rust at the bolts. So if you get it wet, rust may form and drip. It has a nice design and feels comfortable and sturdy. I’m just not sure about long term use unless you keep it dry.

The product is a great purchase for ease of set up and to have a toilet where ever you 'go' (ha ha). I'm ill and underweight so the firm sturdy seat hurts ME. I contacted customer service and explained my situation. The owner responded personally and was kind and gracious. He is a small business owner and worthy of supporting for both the quality of the product and superior customer service. I'm grateful to have made the purchase even though being underweight didn't make for being able to use it.

This is working perfectly on my camping trip! It's so sturdy and easy to set up. I have it in the corner of my tent and just use it at night. It has no cover, but I just cover it with a garbage bag.Sure beats trekking to the campground restroom in the middle of the night!

This very handy devise is used in our tent when we camp. We use standard 13 gallon trash bags and secure the bag to the seat with a sail tie/bungee cord. Works fine for up to 250 LBs, after that I'd be worried. Very sturdy and is well made. folds flat for easy storage.

I am up to go to the toilet 7 or 8 times a night, after an operation. I have this in my bedroom and it saves the constant trips to the bathroom. It is a very god buy for me. Thank you

Very happy with my purchase, bought it for camping trips, very lightweight and sturdy also easy to unfold.I measured and it is only1" shorter than the toilet in our bathroom, (I can't understand reviews where people say it's too small) its also very comfortable.
