1 gal Modern Masters VP100 Tint Base Venetian Plaster Water-Based Acrylic Venetian Plaster

I have used Modern Masters products for decades. Alas it is now all but discontinued in my market area. It’s entire product line is highest quality and delivers excellent results. Unfortunately the base White is all I could find here…and none of my local paint stores will tint for me. So white it will be for the remainder of my projects.

I am the owner of an art studio and I frequently use venetian plaster in my mixed media work. I have used this product and these vendors before and they've always be reliable, affordable and great. The texture is excellent and the spreadability is very good. The last shipment however - was not so hot. The gallon was damaged in transit and delivered in a fairly disgusting state by USPS/FED EX combo effort. As an owner of several business, I realize these folks cannot be held accountable for the state the product arrives after shipping. I was concerned I was out $80 as there are no refunds but I appealed to them anyway to see what they would do. I am so pleased to say that this vendor understood my dilemma and took it upon themselves to refund the entire amount. You bet I will always do business with someone who dos the right thing! Thanks everyone involved! Their product btw is easy to spread, dries beautiful and shines like a timeless piece from days gone by. Do not hesitate to order from them - and I'm very finicky and I don't give reviews out to just anyone.

I bought this product very excited to use it for my fireplace, but I spent weeks trying to find a local or regional paint retailer who would tint the base. Unfortunately, everyone I went to refused to tint it for me because they weren't equipped/familiar with how to tint this. They also stated they did not want to be responsible if the tint did not come out correctly. I have now passed the 30 day return policy trying to get this tinted and now the supplier is refusing to take my return request. This was a complete waste of my time and money, so biggest suggestion -- make sure your local paint shop is willing/able to tint this before purchasing!!

I used it for a bathroom ceiling and walls for a great venetian plaster finish.

I use this to create textures on canvas or board supports for painting.
