Univen 7 oz Coffee Ground Glass Jar Carafe fits KitchenAid Burr Grinder replaces 4176728 KPCGRND

Purchased this glass jar for my Kitchenaid coffee grinder, model KPCG100PMO. I went through many of the reviews for this jar and found many complaints of the jar being too high. I went ahead and ordered this replacement, hoping for the best. The jar arrived in perfect condition and fit my grinder. The jar is slightly heavier than the original part and about 1/3 the price of the OEM part. Overall I am very satisfied. Note my grinder is approximately sixteen years old. This jar may not fit later grinder models.

I have a ProLine Kitchen Aid grinder. This bowl is a little shorter than the original so it is not a snug fit. However it works just fine. Easier to get in and out and much sturdier.

This is a replacement for the original grounds container in our burr coffee grinder. We love the grinder, so when the glass receiving bowl broke, we found this replacement. It looks great, fits perfectly, and works just as intended. Our only gripe is this replacement, just like the original, is made of rather thin glass which if you bump against a hard material (like our quartz countertop) it will break easily. Nothing to be done about that, it is how the manufacturer designed it, and this is now our second replacement in the many years we have owned the grinder.

Use of burr grinder requires user to hold glass jar against slipping or falling. Does not properly fit KitchenAid Burr Grinder KPCG100PM1.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fits KitchenAid grinder…but just a bit too small, so it doesn’t always stay in place. Sometimes the vibrations of the grinder make it dance around and my freshly ground coffee ends up on the counter.

Great replacement after our dog sitter broke ours. Thicker (and sturdier?) than the original.
