A natural woman’s go to edge control
As a black woman with natural Afro textured hair, that I straighten quite a bit, I will say that I appreciate this product so much. I have been using it for YEARS and it always delivers. It holds my edges down (with a silk scarf) and adds a nice sheen without a white residue. With any product, if you use it all the time it will eventually build up however when you use it with an oil based product (hair grease) you will ward off build up for a little while. Did I mention this smells delicious!?! Get it, you won’t be disappointed.

Simply perfect!
Much better than previous edge control. I love that it’s not super sticky like others yet still gets the job done. Also smells good. Will definitely repurchase.

Better than “gel”
I’ve finally found something I don’t mind doing my retwists with. Gel tends to feel heavy and overly sticky at times. This pomade is moisturizing AND it holds well. I wish there was a little more product because I almost used 2/3 of the jar for one retwist BUT it works. It has a nice smell too 👌🏾

Lasts all day, not stuff, not frizzy, and no white residue!
This is my go-to product for styling my natural hair. It is coily. And, that does not work for me because it pulls on my scalp as it lifts, twists, and curls. I use this product to counter that. I apply the Garnier Frustis Curl Air Dry Creme to moisten my hair just the right amount for the curl paste to work better but not so much that my hair coils up. It holds my hair to keep it from curling back up. Then, I follow this curl paste - making sure to rub my hands together for a thin even layer. If it looks stringy at this point, I know it will look good the next day. And, I try it corn roll it, roll it on a roller, and try it under a soft hood dryer for a little while to set it before I go to sleep. (Yes, I roll my hair on curlers to make it less curly.) This keeps my hair from shrinking to a shorter length; instead it might coil along the length of my hair although if I do this combination it does not move at all. The end result is bigger curls and waves on smoother hair and it lays down on the scalp rather than lifting. So, it looks similar to the way I wore it when it was straightened. Even if I am out in high humidity for a bit, it does not move. This is so nice as I am not in discomfort or having to worry about my hair lifting in some strange way. At most, it looks fuller. And, the other nice thing is that I can add creme and reset it without having to reapply the paste. I only add more paste if the ends or the roots are starting to flare. So anyways, I am so happy to discover this product. I actually like my hair being so curly now that I can tame it. I believe I have also used it before blow drying and straightening may hair. And, it is excellent for edges too. This product is a great find!

Conditioning Edge Tamer
I love the way this stuff smells. If you have lo porosity hair, I would recommend you wet your hair before and after applying this product to avoid the white caste. It is a wonderful product! It lays the edges and conditions at the same time! Can’t beat that!

Just ok :/
it works ok. it does flake up a lot but it works just ok. like it'll keep your edges laid for a bit but it doesn't keep them forever & they start to frizz up :/

A little goes a long way
Great control and shine without being oily. Just a little gets the job done and it dries quickly. Works great for stubborn curls
