Small, reliable, and expensive
Very handy drive. I partitioned it and run WSUS Offline on it as well as PortableApps and storage for other support software installers. It is very quiet and the value for the price is great.

Just got this hard drive yesterday. I needed something to back up game saves, documents and music since I'm planning on doing a fresh install of Windows. Since I have a tons of music a USB stick wouldn't cut it. Worked as soon as I plugged it in. Comes with a nice little case too so you don't scratch it. The transfer rate is really good with about 22GB taking about 15-20 minutes. Not sure if this is just an xmas deal but I ordered the 40GB version and on the invoice it said free 60GB (55.5GB usable) upgrade so that was really awesome. If you're looking for a cheap decent portable hard drive there's really no reason I see not to get this one.

Cheap and cheerful... but does everything it needs to.
The software CD is a mini CD so don't pop it into your laptop slot.... however I used the drive with a mac so just formatted it and was away.
