OC-MHC-30 MIDI 30 cm Hammer Cable

I have a huge board crammed with pedals, so space needed to be saved, and the direction the leads flow matters, as well, to keep the appearance clean. For what I was doing this was my only option I could find.

I've only been using them for a little while, and they're fixed to my board so don't see much stress, but they seem durable enough.Man, why do these cable connectors need such big heads (not just these)?Anyway, these are actually the best I could find size-wise, they fit snugly in the socket, zero threat of them falling out, work great. Zero problems with them. I'm very happy with them. And price was reasonable.

So far so good. I love that I can change the cable angle any side I want for my set up. Would recommend.

Ninety degree midi cables are hard enough to find. Then they’re inevitably the wrong way around. These let you have your angles AND reverse them if you need to.My only real complaint is that the angle inside the plug is sharp. After reversing once, the sleeve had split slightly. Not an issue with swapping once but I wouldn’t want to do it dozens of times.

These will probably work for most applications, however, it's important to note that these cables are not fully MIDI compliant and do not connect pin 2 (or the shield). This is an important detail that should be in the product description. The price is quite exorbitant considering it's a 2-wire, non-compliant connector.

This is exactly what I was looking for as a midi patch cable on my new pedalboard. The ability to flip the head 180deg was a godsend.The only issue I ran into is the wire doesn't actually have all 5 wires, only the two data wires. I was going to splice power into this cable but was unable to because of this.
