I can't recommend 'The Electroacupuncture Handbook: For Musculoskeletal' highly enough. This outstanding resource is a must-have for any practitioner working with musculoskeletal conditions. Though concise, the book is packed with everything you need. It's incredibly informative, well-written, and offers a wealth of practical knowledge, whether you use traditional acupuncture techniques or integrate electroacupuncture into your practice.Also, the book is very practical: it provides a detailed exploration of the underlying structures for each musculoskeletal area, with clear guidance on point selection, recommended exercises, and insightful case studies. It’s truly invaluable and therefore highly recommended.

I've been looking for something like this for years. Well written, with good diagrams. Many thanks to the author for sharing his knowledge.

I have been using the Electroacupuncture Handbook for some weeks now and it has transformed my treatment of musculoskeletal problems. It lives on my desk not on the bookshelf! It's the next best thing after being able to ask Stephen "How do I treat this patient". The instructions and pictures ares so detailed that you will easily understand how to treat virtually any musculoskeletal problem. In the beginning you browse the chapter you need and get on with the treatment - simple! I already have quite a number of grateful patients who are impressed with the improvement that they have made using the treatment protocols in the Handbook. I have used electroacupuncture machines for many years, but the Handbook has taken their use to the next level. If you already have a machine then you need this book; if you don't have a machine then buy the book, you'll be buying a machine very soon. Five stars isn't enough!

Stephen Lee's book is aimed at the practitioner who wants to get their teeth stuck into Electroacupuncture. The book definitely fits the brief. It has just the right amount of background on Chinese medicine and electrical principles without becoming a heavy read. There are chapters for specific conditions and some very interesting case studies yet there is enough information to allow the practitioner to find their own way outside of these examples. To top it all, the diagrams are exquisitely clear and allow even a quick glance to guide you in the right direction.

Stephen Lee has written a clear and practical guide on the treatment of common musculoskeletal problems based on his many years of clinical practice. This very useful book starts with a description of electricity, its historical use in medicine, and its known effects on the body, and then concisely considers important questions like which machine to buy, what frequencies to use, and how to position the leads. Chapter 4 of the book reflects on precautions and contraindications before continuing to describe treatments for common neck, shoulder, arm, back, knee and feet problems. The text is well written and well illustrated, with helpful and very practical tips to optimise treatment. The text is unashamedly based on Stephen's clinical experience and it is non-dogmatic, honest, and in places gently humorous. I was genuinely impressed with this book and can recommend it to novice and experienced practitioners without any hesitation.

As a practitioner who has struggled and dabbled with electroacupuncture for many years, this book is a revelation. It provides everything you are likely to need to know when using electroacupuncture for musculoskeletal problems. Based on the authors experience it is a wealth of practical advice, with a solid theoretical underpinning; essential reading.

Acupuncturists have been waiting for a clearly written book about electro acupuncture and at last it's here! The book discusses all the main musculoskeletal conditions and is easy to follow. It has well-drawn and detailed illustrations and clear step by step procedures. This will be a very popular book and is well worth buying.
