LOVE the ENTIRE SERIES!
Because many of these books are out of print, I ended up getting a lot of mine from England- that ain't cheap, but they're worth it. I teach 8th and 9th grade science, I love including tidbits and cartoons from these books to fill out my lessons.

Great for kids
My son loved the book - it is full of fun facts and information that kids just love. We like the whole series and highly recommend all the Horrible Science books.

Fun for everyone
Although this book is aimed for young adults, `Nasty Nature` can amuse both young and not-so-young adults. Nick Arnold has a funny way of writing, talking about things that could be boring the hands of a less talented writer. The information he brings is interesting and completely new to many people. Plus, his style is easy and talks straight to kids, like he put himself in their shoes. Another great thing in this book is Tony De Saullres` illustrations. They are funny and cute-- even some nasty animals. Some interesting information are provided about Mother Nature. But what I liked best is the light way that the book is written. Arnold has a gift of making what would be a bore in a funny and whoth reading bookMy suggestion is: buy this book to your kids and read it yourself too. You`ll realized that you`d never noticed how interesting and nasty Mother Nature could be.

Very funny, entertaining book in the Horrible Series
A great, humourous, educative book, like all in the series. Would recommend most books in the Horrible series to any primary school children from about age 9. Some funny black & white pictures to go with it (cartoon style), though mainly text. "Nasty Nature" is one of my son's favourites in the series, and a real gem if you like your animals. Our son is 12, and we're having a good laugh when he shares the whacky facts with us.
