Awesome ultrashort throw projector
I was contemplating between this model and the laser version. Went with this since it a cheaper and stock was available. It didn’t disappoint me in terms of lumens. I can still watch is a room in the day with my blinds pulled down, picture is colourful and bright. But I also realise that sharpness depends on the source. YouTube videos and photos from phone are not as sharp as I hope to be. Feels like fake 1080 resolution. But video streamed from Netflix and Disney+ are perfect. I use a google chrome cast dongle to watch these. Audio as most say is not amazing but it is enough for me. For people who likes the bass, yes you need to connect to a better speaker system or BT headset. But thankfully projector is so quiet, its own speaker is sufficient for me.

This is a terrible product for the price.
This is a terrible product for the price. Focus function does not work properly. Or very poorly functional. So..The sharpness of the text is very poor. There is a screen distortion, but it is not corrected. Although it said it supports 1080P on a 120" screen. The resolution is very poor on a 120" screen. You have to zoom out to about 80" to see the Good resolution. Although I bought this product as a Christmas present. I don't know if the part that doesn't fix once is a defect or what. I will reopen the product for Christmas and test it If the problem is not resolved, a return is required. I've been using another projector, but there was no screen distortion. I think this product is worth using for its low price. At around 1700$, it's not worth buying at all. Really, for the price, I'd say this product is trash.

Great image, great projector
This is a great little projector. I was pleasantly surprised by the image quality and ultra short distance. If you experience a wavy edge at the top of the screen it is subtle depressions or dents in your wall or screen, not the projector itself. It could be brighter but really it's fine. If you are going to be using the projector in an area with medium to high ambient light then you might wanna find something brighter. The picture I included is the projector about a foot from a wall that is painted dark blue.

Requires a very dark room and white walls or screen
If you buy this, beware that the wow factor is real. Seeing a football game projected onto the width of your entire wall is awe-inspiring and will impress everyone who comes over to your house. I bought this projector because I hate the look of a big black slap in my living room when the TV is not on and also am trying to reduce the risk of a TV tipping over on my one-year-old. First the good: Yes, this thing is huge and the footprint is tiny. It looks smaller than my cable box and the white color would do nicely mounted on a wall. The picture has different modes: sports, cinema, etcetera, and the Wii-like remote is awesome and well-done. In short, I really, really wish this had done the job for me, but there were some major reasons why I had to return it. The bad: The most glaring weakness here is the light. My living room has big windows with an Eastern exposure. Watching TV in the daytime was almost impossible. An NFL game on sport mode was doable, but for some reason Netflix and Hulu shows were really dark and very washed out. Even at night, we couldn't have the overhead lights on more than 25% or the shows and movies would feel very washed out. Moreover, with shows on Netflix or Hulu, the motion seemed strange. It felt like it was both slow and fast at the same time. It almost felt like when they adjusted those widescreen movies for a 4:3 TV and the camera had to pan across the picture during key moments. It's not something I can detect on a regular TV screen. The alternative was to paint the entire room in bright white projector paint or erect a cinema screen, but both of those options would just dramatically change the look of the room and neither gained much traction with my wife. To be honest, I was kind of heart-broken to send this back as I really wanted it to work out. Still, $1,200 will buy you a phenomenal traditional TV and that's what's going to work better for me and my setup.

Super happy with my purchase
This thing is a beast! Its bright, clear, and easy to set up. This is my first projector. I've been researching projectors for a while now and I knew I wanted a Short Throw due to the fact that I didn't want people to stand up and block the beam while watching tv or a movie. this sits about 5 or so inches from the screen directly under it and produces an amazing image. It connects to all of my existing speakers and gaming systems. I'm sure there are far better and far more expensive projectors out there but this work perfectly for me. Playing games on this screen with my 7.1 surround sound system is, for lack of a better term, a game changer.

Awesome picture.
Sooo cool. Max size on my wall is 120 inches. I am happy and would recommend this product. Still learning the remote. The built in speaker needs to get adjusted through the use of built in equalizer to enjoy the sound.

Dim Dim Dim
This projector is garbage! Do not buy! This projector is designed (intentionally or not)to be used in a pitch black room. We purchased this projector to assist with mural painting. We have several Epson projectors (1/2 the cost) that can be used with minimal shade but to need to be moved back (away from the wall) to throw a larger image. We had hoped this would help in situations where we don’t have the space to pull back. Unfortunately it’s projection is so dim that even in a darkened room (windows covered with Kraft paper) the image is barely visible. I had to take it into a bathroom, on a job site, with the lights off just to see the menu to increase the brightness. This increase made ZERO difference with the projection. I honestly can not see any situation where I’d recommend this projector. AND the LG customer service is terrible! (For those of you that know, think Comcast/Xfinity level customer service)

Cool technology, horrible customer service
This projector is ideal for my needs, and the technology is neat. The image quality is sharp and high def, and the brightness is not bad although it could have been brighter. The image feels like crisp HD, although the color definition could have been wider in some instances, especially across skin tones. There is a common issue with these, and that is the curvy top line, due to the projector mirror design. Mine too had this fault, and I spoke with LG where they confirmed I should send it in for warranty repair. Mind you my device was produced in February 2020 and purchased in April. LG promised me a 5-7 day turnaround, it has now more than been three weeks since I shipped it off, and I never received any confirmation of receipt. I have called LG numerous times, and they are not able to provide any information, no confirmation of its whereabouts or approximate delivery date. I have never experienced such poor customer service, and this renders it hard for me to be a future LG customer. With this in mind, please be aware of any potential faults the unit my have, as their warranty process is troublesome at best.
