Calcium plays a role in the formation of plant cell walls and is essential for seed production in some plants. It helps to regulate the transfer of proteins through cell walls and detoxifies plants by neutralizing organic acids. Deficiencies of calcium cause the tips of young leaves to turn brown and die. When calcium is deficient, leaves may also curl, and blossoms can drop prematurely. Nitrogen is a component of every protein and is therefore essential for plant growth, photosynthesis and enzymatic reactions. This nutrient is often required in much higher amounts than other macro-nutrients during growth phases when a plant is not producing fruit. Deficiencies are recognized by the slow growth of new shoots, pale coloured leaves in the middle of the growing season, fewer leaves than in previous years and early release of leaves before the arrival of autumn When applied early in fruit development, the calcium stabilizes cells, so they don’t collapse, causing blossom end rot. Meanwhile, the nitrogen is fueling plant growth. You can also use it to treat magnesium deficiencies when it is combined at a rate of 3 to 5 pounds magnesium sulfate in 25 gallons of water (1.36 to 2.27 kg. in 94.64 litres). As a side dress, use 3.5 pounds of calcium nitrate per 100 feet (1.59 kg per 30.48 m). Mix the fertilizer into the soil, being careful to keep it off the foliage. Water the area well to allow the nutrients to start seeping into the soil and get to plant roots. For a foliar spray to correct calcium deficiency and add nitrogen, add 1 cup of calcium nitrate to 25 gallons of water (128 grams to 94.64 litres). Spray when the sun is low, and plants have been watered sufficiently.

Not sure
I am really not sure how to use this. I bought it and used it twice. Once i dissolved it in water and next time i just mixed it in the plants. but there was not any kind of improvement in the condition of the plant. The description on the packet is not able to tell how to use it for home plants.
