Signature Series Comfort Pet Carrier in Black - Small

I used this carrier twice and the second time i used it the zipper no longer works and I cannot close the bag!

I did not not receive the signature series bag like in the picture, it was plain with no design. I am traveling on Monday and I need the correct bag before then.Hoping my reorder is correct this time.Update: I was able to get the correct bag and on time! I love the all mesh side!

I am on my second of these carriers, having purchased the small carrier for a 4.5 lb teacup chihuahua. The first carrier was great, but my dog chewed the zipper on the main opening and I could no longer close it. No problem; I simply ordered another one. I think the construction of the carrier must have changed though, between the first and the second one that I purchased. The second one was packaged so that the frame of it warped inward. I have not been able to get it to bow back out to normal, so the top of the carrier leans in on my dog's ears even when he's laying down. The other disappoinment is that within a few months, the velcro closures on the straps that secure the carrier to the seatbelt in a car were unusable. The plastic grippy side of the velcro had mostly disintegrated to the point where it wouldn't even hold closed. This is an important feature to me since I bought this carrier to provide protection while my pet is in the car (which is very often). I've ended up sewing replacement velcro over the old unusable velcro, but still, I wish the manufacturer would invest in a higher quality velcro closure since that is one of the main selling points of this product.

This is a wonderful pet carrier... it is almost all mesh and airy, and fits easily under a plane seat with a removeable, sheepskin-like liner so the pet is comfortable and doesn't slide. The straps are just long enough for the shoulder. One side zips all the way (like a door) and the other side only zips half-way (like an arch) but no entry from the top and the rounded top makes it a little smaller than other carriers with similar dimensions. There is a small zipper compartment. I've tried a lot of carriers and this is by far the most comfortable and convenient and fits my 5-lb maltese perfectly. The only problem is that without the top zip you have to push the pet in through the door if he's unwilling instead of just putting him in. Beware of carriers with snap closures because my puppy was able to pop open the snaps and run around the airport (which is annoying as you're boarding a plane)! It can probably hold up to a 10-lb dog but that could be pushing it.
