Works well, I prefer a flat square nib over the ball shaped nibs, so this was perfect for how I want my handwriting to look. The finish on the cap and nib does wear off after being carried in a pocket for a few weeks, but after some fine grit sanding, it looks better than before.

it is a great set for what it is. i have been trying to improve my handwriting for as long as i can remember and finally bit the bullet. metal feel hefty and wood is real and nice to feel. but it is a bit top heavy if you put on the cap. the copper is nice. wish there was a pen clipper thing to hold it in shirt. the ink is a nice addon to start with. overall, not bad.
