Brightness is poor. If you want a subtle glow then it's fine. But it is no way near as bright as the image shown. To be honest, put your hand deeper in your pocket for a better product. I see other reviews on here about the noise, this item is fine though. Guess it's luck of the draw.

Used this to make a neon effect sign. Wire is very robust and will bend to very acute angles if forced. Very bright too! Only issue was the battery box makes a loud, shrill sound when turned on - may have to wrap in something soft to drown it out!

For something designed to go into clothing, it didn't last long. I hand sewed it in to be sure I didn't catch the wire- had to take it out to resew it, so disconnected the battery pack via the clip it comes with, and when I reconnected it it no longer worked. Changed batteries, etc, nothing. The light is very weak, too- barely any difference when on or off.

This is more of a toy if you must get it, not very good but you get what you pay for.

Updated review - the below still holds re: quietness and brightness; unfortunately it just stopped working overnight without even being turned on and now it won't light up at all.Got this because of the low noise feature to replace an old similar product that had the irritating high pitched shriek so many of the reviews of other ones on here mention. And it works! Absolutely no noise unless you press it into your ear. Very pleased. Good brightness, good colour, and absolutely no breaks in the phosphors either. Highly recommend this one if you are also annoyed by the whistle of the cheaper ones.

Product came super quick, easy to use, and is in full working order currently. Only downfall is that the lights really aren’t that bright. During the day, you wouldn’t even notice they were lit which is a shame.
