I broke one of the porcelain egg cups I bought in the Netherlands, so I ordered this set thinking it would be more durable. The spoons are nice. They're a bit large for egg spoons, but are solid and smooth, and have a nice balance in your hand. The cups are of lesser quality: thin, light, and large. Because the inside bottom of the cup is very round, a chicken egg sits loosely with only 1/4 - 1/2 inch above the rim. I prefer an egg cup which props the egg up and holds it firmly, so you can remove enough shell to dip toast in the yolk. I ended up flipping the cup over and used the hollow base to hold the egg instead. It's a little more precarious, but was much easier to enjoy the egg. These would be alright for duck eggs or larger chicken eggs.

This is the second one I purchased. The first one worked well in basement, but the insects started to move to kitchen and bedrooms. I thought maybe it couldn’t cover all the area so I purchased this second one. I plug the first one in kitchen and the second one in basement. Most of the insects are gone, but I still see spiders in basement, little insects in bedroom and ants in kitchen. I guess it’s not as powerful as I expected.

Had to repair one of the cups before I even got to use it. I was washing it and the top came off from the bottom. Had to be glued back together. The spoons are nicely made and feel good in the hand.

I really love these, but be sure to choose larger eggs. The small ones go way down into the bowl. If you only have smaller eggs, you can place some napkin in the bottom to raise up the eggs.

We had only one of these kind of cups before because my Husband loves soft boil eggs. The reason I got them for him was the Egg Cup he had, had to be older than Methuesela LOL, and I thought it was time to get a new Egg Cup. I love it because it came in a package of 2 egg cups with spoons, and what made me love it most was that there was a2 Egg Teaspoon that came with the Egg cups. Now my Husband is happy and that makes me happy.

Like the spoons. The cups are a good size for extra large eggs. One cup's stem broke off, but I was able to Superglue it back.

Gee .. what does one say about egg cups? They're cute and sturdier than they look. Spoons are a nice weight and hold up very nicely.
