Very Pleased. Purpose Driven Design.
I think this is an excellent value (around $29 when I purchased) and you get a lot of knife for your money. If your intended use is self defense I think it will do its job and do it well. I see this as a weak side back up blade. I plan to carry this knife daily and think it will a great addition to my EDC.Knives are tools. Each style has it's own unique intended purpose. This knife is not an 'everyday' general purpose knife. It might work for daily tasks but is not the best for general use. It is great at slashing and would probably do good at piercing and penetration. I wish both sides of the blade were sharp so it could be used in either direction and I may try to sharpen the top edge, not sure yet. Even without a sharpened back edge this knife has an extremely pointy tip and would be great for direct penetration with the right grip.In my opinion, this knife is best for self defense purposes. You can use it with a standard grip or reverse grip. It is equally comfortable with both grips. The ergonomics are not perfect but they are very good. My only real gripe is that a small section of the grips/scales can rub your hand in certain situations. This is not a concern for self defense situation so I cannot take points away but I could add points if the scales were slightly more contoured. The blade arrived razor sharp. It would shave hairs right out of the box. Blade has no markings or logos of any kind so I have no idea of the steel. It seems thick enough and well made for this type of blade. The description states D2 steel but I have no way to verify that claim. The handle is also well made and it is easily large enough for my hands (I am 6'2"). The handle is designed for maximum grip in the event your hands become wet / slippery. They are not the most comfortable for general use but this is not a general use knife. The handles are purpose driven for a specific situation and I think they would an excellent job in that situation. For self defense use I think this might be in my top 2 choices for overall design. I would not want to be on the receiving end of this thing! This would be considered a GTFOM knife.I've only had it a few days so I cannot speak to the long term durability but it will be used so I will try to report back if I experience any problems (and if I can remember). The included sheath is 'okay' but nothing spectacular. It holds the knife well, good retention, not as strong as others I've seen, but I am concerned about long term durability or hard-use scenarios. The belt clip is a knock-off version of the Blade-Tech Tek Lok. Again, it works but is not nearly as robust as the original Tek Lok. If you are planning on EDC then I would spend the additional $10 and get a genuine Tek Lok.Overall, I like this blade design. I think it has a purpose and it would be effective. I also think it is a great value (what you get is well worth what you pay). I may buy another so I can leave it on my plate carrier as a dedicated back up.

Strangely high quality
For the price this is a great self defense knife. Intuitive handling, and a good size in my opinion. Sheath is outstanding. I added a tek lok to carry it scout. D2? Maybe. It is pointy and sharp,I know that. The point is really thin, definitely a stabber. I imagine if you dropped this weapon on anything harder than a pillow the tip would snap off. So far so good though. I am interested in buying more ccanku knives for certain. I love how nondescript they are, the aesthetics are right up my alley. Would definitely recommend

Solid Knife
It came very sharp, the perfect size for me, the sheath is quite nice too, its orientation and position can be adjusted. The one tidbit I have it that the material for the handle is quite rough, I'll likely be replacing that part.

Amazing knife as is, PERFECT knife with design improvements
This knife is truly high-quality and amazing, as is. Perfect size, EXTREMELY high-quality knife, AND hard molding sheath that allows adjustments angles while fixed to the belt (very durable belt clip is included). Can be adjusted with a simple screwdriver in 3 mins. I am honestly surprised at the extremely high quality of the product. The blade is immensely sharp, I did the paper-cutting test and was NOT impressed so I VERY LIGHTLY ran my thumb across the blade and thought "The blade definitely needs sharpening," but after a few minutes, I realized that I was bleeding pretty good (didn't feel anything). So be careful! But I did notice the sheath, over time and use, I can imagine the locking mechanism will become weaker and the knife falling out. I held the knife and sheath upside down and slightly shook it and the knife fell out (Not good). I can imagine the sheathed knife attached to my belt and it falling out when running. The following are my suggested improvements. If the company makes these improvements I'd definitely buy 3 for myself and more as gifts!Suggested improvements:KNIFE IMPROVEMENTS:1) A great addition would be an interchangeable screw-on handle that has 3 finger placements molds at the underbelly of the handle.2) on the sides of the attachable handle closest to the blade, add a ball detent point on both sides (ambidextrous use) that will act as leverage points when thrusting AND serve as locking mechanisms inside the sheath (slight sheath modification necessary).3) more of an inverted arch on top of the knife for thumb placement (ex: like the inverted thumb placement on the Ccanku C1699 (w/ grooves) PERFECT!SHEATH IMPROVEMENTS:1)Add divots to the sheath where the forefront of the handle sits inside to serve as locking mechanisms2) Add fine-grade sharpening material inside the sheath where the cutting edge of the blade enters so that when sheathing and unsheathing the knife it acts as a sharpener.OVERALL: I am NOT DISAPPOINTED with this product AT ALL. NO buyer's remorse. Great Product!

Pretty good with a couple issues
First off let me preface this review by saying I'm the type of guy that likes a knife a bit on the hefty side so take everything I'm about to say with the granite salt I think the knife is beautiful if it's really nicely in the hand however it is super lightweight and so keep that in mind if you think you're going to flip it like a karambit it's wicked light so it might fling right off your finger in addition to that because of the shape of this knife it makes it a bit difficult to remove from the kydex sheath other than those two complaints which are honestly probably just my own preferences this knife is overall is really nice I'm very impressed with it for the price it came nice and sharp right out the box
