I bought this as a gift for a friend's daughter. My son and her daughter have been reading the books together, and she's a huge fan. To my embarrassment, the back of the pin wouldn't stay on straight out of the package. I offered to get her a new back, but thankfully they had others that worked.The pendant itself is thick and detailed. But, it's quite embarrassing to give someone an unusable gift. Thankfully they had spare backs. Her daughter now wears this daily and loves it.

This is absolute garbage! I hate it! I remember going to Hot Topic when the movie was coming out and the pin felt heavy, it felt like metal. This feels like cheap plastic made to look like metal. It’s bent too. I send it back! Whoever makes this needs to get it together and try harder!

I read some of the previous reviews and was hoping that the latest poor reviews were just a glitch in production but I was wrong. I received the item today but it arrived in a little plastic bag without cardboard and was crushed. It looks like it is made out of thin tin. The pin in the back is not like the movies and it does not even hold in place even after modifications. It falls off all the time. The entire rear of the brooch is oxidized black from corrosion. I put it in the garbage where it belongs. Not even worth sending it back. Very disappointed. Buyer beware.
