Dangerously Tight Fit
First off, I have a couple of Svord peasant knives and really like them. Very retro & basic, very simple. My other two knives are assembled using screws. This one, with the copper handle, is assembled using rivets and therein lies the problem. It is riveted together so tightly that it is extremely difficult to open and, once opened, damn near impossible to close. So much force is needed that it imposes a danger of cutting one's self unless extreme caution is taken (don't ask me how I know :( ). If you want a Svord peasant knife stick to the ones that are assembled using screws, which can be adjusted to proper tension, and avoid those that are riveted.

Good, but I actually prefer the plastic handled models.
Good knife, but the handle is uncormfortable. The plastic handled ones are much more comfortable for long use.

Very good steel and simple design that lasts
I like svord knives and this one is very good. It's thin but sturdy and shaving sharp. I'm going to get another one.
