Great Replacement
We bought this to replace a 10+ year old GE that was in this house when we bought it and it had finally given up the ghost. We got the microwave and the in-cabinet installation trim kit for that built-in look. It is a very nice looking unit, especially with the built-in kit.The controls are much more straight forward than the older GE and it seems to be more powerful so it is taking us a bit to figure out the best nuking times and powers so we don't turn the food into an dried out brick. It is whisper quiet (not that the GE was loud, but you could definitely hear it running anytime you were in the kitchen. The Frigidare has a warning beep that starts sounding a few short beeps shortly before the oven signals that the cooking cycle is complete. The clock/indicator display on the front is super bright and easy to read.It has a large interior, it's easy to clean, and has a very nice look as far as microwaves go. The best part is, it does almost everything much more expensive microwaves to at a great savings in cost. There is no temperature probe to automate the cooking and the rotating tray is the only accessory that comes with it, so no shelves to allow you to nuke additional things on a different level.

Best Microwave We've Owned
We had a wonderful microwave before the Frigidaire, but had to get a new one for our kitchen remodel. I didn't think I would like the Frigidaire microwave more than our previous one, but I was pleasantly surprised! It has a very large capacity, cooks well and evenly, easy to clean, and has quick-cook buttons which I love. My husband installed it and said it was easy to install. He really likes it too. It has a sleek appearance and very little/no noise when cooking. The beep at the end is loud enough to hear, even from nearby rooms, without being too much. We've had it for 2 months and it works like a dream. We really, REALLY like it!

Overall Pretty Good For the Price, but Terrible Open Button.
I bought this because it was relatively cheap and I didn't want to replace my previous microwave with the same shoddy, overpriced GE microwave that had just broken.Pros:- This microwave looks pretty nice, a little better than the GE Monogram we had, in my opinion.- This microwave is close to, if not the, cheapest stainless steel, built in 2.2 cubic foot microwave you can buy.- Everything else is pretty standard as far as operation and capabilities and just what you'd expect.Cons:- The door open button on this thing is utter garbage. If you press it from one side or another it has about a centimeter of wiggle in it. I don't recall any other switch on any other appliance that I've ever used being as bad as this. I expect it will be the first thing to break.I don't think I would buy this again just because of the door open button being so poorly made. Nor would I have bought it if I had tried it in person.Frigidaire, if you read these things, what did you save with that terrible button mechanism? 25 cents per microwave? One dollar? Is that really worth turning customers off completely? I've recommended my Frigidaire refrigerator combo many times, but this kind of poor quality will make me think twice.I'm giving this 4/5 stars. It's cheap, it looks pretty nice, and it works as expected. I would probably have given it 5/5 if not for that terrible open button.

Very good microwave. matched our oven perfectly
We bought this to match our new Whirlpool oven and purchased the frame too. Looks great and works well. I like the features for popcorn and the convenient button you can push for 30 second time, which can increase 30 seconds at a time, or enter your exact time. Very good quality and convenience.

Avoid this Product and Frigidaire Brand
To begin, this is not a crank complaint. I am a retired VP for Technical Product Development for a tech firm in Orlando.Microwave model FMGO226NUFA purchased on 1 April 2021. Purchased because it was literally the only unit on the market fitting the unique counter arrangement in my home. Microwave started routinely malfunctioning on 23 Dec, with electrical arcing, noise and smoke visible in the food chamber.Frigidaire warranty telephone numbers reported no service available. I called back routinely until making contact on 28 Dec. Troubleshooting guidance provided by the rep was unsuccessful. Called back routinely between 29 Dec - 3 Jan with response "Overwhelming call volume, call back again, sorry for the inconvenience". Used warranty chat service to make contact with Customer Service, who helpfully arranged for a service call. Service call completed 7 Jan, with tech approval for unit replacement. Estimated delivery 7-10 days. Replacement microwave not received by 25 Jan; chatted online with Customer Service, who reported delivery would be on 28 Jan and provided shipping company info. No info received by 28 Jan, so I called CSTI about status; they had no info - checking. Checked again with CSTI on 4 Feb - still no status, but rep assured me that he would call back with info. (No call back.) 14 Feb, chatted with Frigidaire Customer Service - no info available, however I was to receive contact or tracking info in 3-5 business days. 24 Feb: In the process of speaking with Frigidaire Customer Service (two separate calls) and new shipping company (Ryder). The notes above are only the highlights of the absolute frustration that I have experienced with every step in going through the ordinary replacement of a faulty microwave unit. Confusing and unresponsive warranty reporting; marginally capable service technician; inept unit tracking process; ineffective delivery system.I am on the phone with Frigidaire (again) as I type this. Although the rep that I spoke with an hour ago had a shipment tracking number and shipping company phone number, the shipping company had no record of my name, phone or tracking number. The Frigidaire rep that I'm speaking with now has no tracking information, has reported the issue to "the back office", and cannot provide additional information (including contact info for "the back office").You can be the judge of whether my experience is something that you might go through if you purchase this microwave model, or any other Frigidaire product.

Perfect fit for a built in, & easy to operate
I like the way it operates, & the size for a built in. I do not like the long loud beeps when it’s done.
