Leviton 40539-CMB Midsize Telephone/Video Wall Jack, 6P4C X F, Brown

I own a 2013 RV and while it came with two coax inputs it did not come equipped with a telephone jack. While wintering in Florida I decided to have DSL installed by the local phone company so I could have quality internet access. Originally I ran a wire through a window to connect to my modem. In order to correct this situation I used one of the existing coax leads to pull in a new coax and a telephone 4 wire conductor from the outside of the RV to the main TV location. Inside the unit I used this combined outlet to terminate the phone wires and the coax. It is a well made unit and worked very well for this application. And I no longer need to run a wire through the window.

Exactly as pictured and described on Amazon. Leviton products typically cost more than other similar products but the quality is superior. Plastic is heavier duty and phone jack construction/plating on cable connector is much better than on cheaper competitors. Also, the wire colors are identified by the screw terminals on the back of the phone jack which makes connection easy and isn't always the case on cheaper competitors.

It was difficult finding a brown wall plate that provide both an RJ-11 and coaxial connection. Then I thought amazon.com has everything. Sure enough, it was even a brand I recognized. Sure enough it was exactly what I was looking for. High quality and a heavy gauge plastic.
