An Introduction to the Psychology of Hearing: Sixth Edition 6th Edition

Taking this undergrad class as a grad student and it is a very interesting book not too focused on the engineering aspect of acoustics.

Best book for researchers of auditory neuroscience.. psychology.. Any fields related to audition. Not hard to understand! Textbook for my psychoacoustics course..

日本語版で「聴覚心理学概論」として出版されているものの原著の最新版です。日本版「聴覚心理学概論」は、出版が1980年代とかなり古くなっていますので、その後の新しい情報を含んでいるということで有益と思います。日本語版も新しくしてくれるといいのですが、ちょっと労力がかかり難しいようですね。 もっとも、基本的な事項は初版から受け継がれているので、そこまで劇的に異なるわけではありません。日本語版とこちらを対照しながら読むのも、より理解が深まることと思います。ただ、図は日本語版よりややきれいでないように思われます。
