Keurig Has a NEW Reusable K-cup!!!!!
The new design of the Elite Series Stainless Steel Reusable Keurig K-cup is made to LAST! Why? Because the metal cup itself now has metal arms, coated in plastic (whereas the original design had plastic arms that broke off very easily. Without the arms, the original K-cup would not properly fit into the machine; therefore, it became useless. ) The new Keurig K-cup makes excellent cups of coffee, and because it's reusable, it saves money and it's good for the environment. Anyone interested in both the economy and the environment will want to have this new Keurig K-cup.

Great Product!
Just to be clear, I found this product by using the Amazon search function. I was not asked to evaluate anything!I had to change my way of doing things to accommodate the stainless steel! All of my previous refillable and reusable K Cups were made of plastic. (Glad to be away from plastic, even BPA Free Plastid!) I always disposed of the used coffee grounds, and rinsed out the K Cup right after the coffee finished brewing. This way I would be ready to refill and make another cup when I finished the cup just made! (I drink way too much coffee!) I now have to wait a bit for the stainless steel to cool. It is really hot, and that's okay, I like my coffee hot, but the stainless unit retains heat much better than the plastic units, and is tough to handle just after a cup is brewed.Any disadvantage is certainly outweighed by the advantages! Definitely a Keeper!!

After 2 months, they're useless!
These worked well for us for less than 2 months. There are little red plastic tabs on each side of the top and basket which have fallen off through regular hand washing. As a result of these plastic tabs falling off, water and grounds flow up through hole it the top where the red tab used to be and over the side of basket and grounds wind up in your cup of coffee. I purchased 4 and there is one remaining that is the only one that will make a decent cup of coffee without coffee grounds in my cup.

Works, gives you grounds, doesnt fit.
Okay have been using for 1 month now. Every cup of coffee has grounds in it. It does not fit perfectly in the holder and the k cup machine will not close fully with it in there. I have a generation 1 elite k cup. The best gen 1 you could buy. Every cheap plastic one in the stores works perfect. I wanted a good cup where the lid wont break off. This cup is durable but like I said it does not fit and that coupled with grounds in each cup is worth 1 star. I use it correctly, its clean of all grounds around seal and and the hinge faces towards the arrow on top. You literally have to hold the lid down for no grounds while it is brewing. For me that's a deal breaker.

Not worth the $20 you're going to drop for this (not even good to use as a) paperweight.
I typically don't write reviews, but I had to share my disappointment with this product. I have not had it for even a month, and it is already going into the recycling bin (after all, I was trying not to hurt the planet with the plastic k-cups). Beware of the red plastic snap-ons as they are not welded onto the body itself, but are actually just snapped into place. Mine? Well, they both, not just one, but both somehow loosened themselves and cannot be snapped back on (I can't even find one plastic piece, but what difference would it make at this point?). And I say 'snapped on' as if they can be snapped on if they fall off, but they really can't since there is no hook/button mechanism that would allow you to do that. These red plastic pieces are also very crucial in leading the Keurig to believe you're using a pre-made pod, because without the red pieces, your water will pour out of the sides of the machine, leaving you a mess on your counter, and honestly, for the price point this thing is in, the consumer shouldn't be dealing with a crap cup of muddied water all because a plastic piece fell off. For $20, it should be built way better and way sturdier than most other recyclable k-cups in the market. And for the record, I used mine about 2-3 times a day, and I always washed/rinsed it by hand, so in case anyone wondered if it was misused, it wasn't.Save yourself the money and just buy Keurig's version: way easier and guaranteed to work.

Very sturdy & durable little cups!
I'm very glad I ordered these! They seem far more durable than the normal plastic ones that are available. They seem very well built & designed. I was concerned a little before receiving them how sturdy the hinge might/might not be, but I was really impressed with it once received. Like others have mentioned, you sometimes will get some very fine coffee "residue" in the bottom of your cup, there are small paper filters available if that's a problem for you...I had a very small problem with my order, which their Customer Service addressed almost immediately. They were fantastic to work with, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. Now I do believe it's time to make a cup of coffee, after talking about these! :)

Excellent Filter
These are stainless steel and fit perfectly in our Keurig. It's nice to use the same bulk coffee that we would use to make a full pot when only need a single serving. These filters do not require any modifications to the Keurig machine. Just fill it 3/4 full with coffee grounds insert the pod and press start. Be careful when removing as it will be hot because it is metal. Cleaning a reusable filter is never easy, but this is strong enough to tap on the side of the garbage can to get as many grounds out as possible before rinsing it in the sink.

Overflows and forces grounds into cup.
When I first got it I loved it....quality was good along with ease of use and coffee tasted good. Recently it is having a problem giving nice clear coffee...actually overflowing and grounds ending up in cup and all over the front of Keurig. I also use other older plastic k cups from Target. These do not spill grounds in cup and on front of Keuring. I always use little paper filters with my k cups. This morning I didnt thinking maybe that was my silver k cups problem. It still spilled over grounds. Decided I would not use this one anymore.
