Corset Super Store Women's Steampunk Brown Brocade Corset and Long Sleeved Jacket Set

Pros: The brocade is very heavy duty and will likely outlast the upholstery on my car, feels a lot like heavy tarp The workmanship is excellent, I doubt this would come apart in a nuclear explosion, which it seems to have been built for The latches are of a brass colored pot metal and seem well connected, though I doubt they will take many hits before they break and for some odd reason they are mounted upside down (?) The jacket is the same material as the bodice, though thinnerCons: Doesn't fit properly. My wife bought a 22 though she has a waist of 29", the breast and hips are a little too large (She has a 36" C cup and 35" hips and is 5'5 120lbs) and stick out like wings. The "Faux Leather" is nothing but cheap plastic strips and hardly equal to the other materials and gives an appearance overall of a Halloween costume. I suspect I will need to buy some leather strips and replace the plastic to make it look right. The "modesty panel" on the back is attached to only one side and as such is only long enough to cover half the back. Since it will be impossible to find a matching material it will need to be removed and a new back, possibly of velvet, will need to be put in its place and attached to both sides.Overall the appearance of the leather is cheap, but the brocade is good enough to warrant 3 stars. The fitting seems to have been designed for Jane Russell, not a normal woman. I really expected a better product for what this cost.- special note: the sleeves are Very long, and I noticed some people talking about having them tailored, don't, they are made that way to be pushed up and make them puff around the upper arms (not shown on the picture) and so give more of the steampunk image.

The corset itself is very well made. I was surprised by the quality of the fasteners in the front. And it is GORGEOUS! The only negatives I have are about the jacket. Because the material is so much lighter than the corset, it tends to not lay right in the front. I plan on using some antique bronzed safety pins to hold it in place. The sleeves, as mentioned in other comments, are VERY long, and I get the why of it, however I think I'm going to have to trim them a bit and then still use arm garters to keep them where I want them. Even with those complications, it was well worth the money!

it fits a little big but thats great, wearing it to a steam punk carnival, i love it, nice feel too, sleeves are long enough even for me lol

I had to purchase this for the corset fit so the sleeves are just a bit long for me. I bought this to go with a steampunk skirt and it gives the perfect look to it.
