About the Author Simon Spurrier started writing at an early age, contributing to fan magazines and amateur short story forums from the age of 14. At 18 he received his first professional commission with UK comic 2000AD and has since become a regular writer of comics, short stories and - lately - novels with Warhammer Monthly, Inferno!, The Megazine, the Black Library and Black Flame. In 2003 he won a bursary with the National Academy of Writing following a screenwriting competition in the Times newspaper. Read more
