Bakeware Round Glass Roaster, 2.5-Quart

I acquired a 3-piece set of Marinex glass oval roasting pans about 12 years ago and use them regularly. They're still in great shape. And I wouldn't part with them under any circumstances! They easily go from refrigerator (storage) to oven (baking/microwaving) to table (elegant serving dishes -- seriously!). I was searching on Amazon for the same roasters to purchase as a gift and came upon the Marinex round glass roaster. I read the reviews and one reviewer noted the item was great for dredging chicken and fish in flour/bread crumbs -- much better than a plate where things can spill over. I thought that was a great idea and bought the round glass roaster based on the review. I received the roaster a few days ago and have already used it for prep purposes where I would have traditionally used a large plate. So much better! So, now I have FOUR reasons to make Marinex my "go-to" kitchen favorite: (1) cooking; (2) serving; (3) storage; and (4) prep. Great value, too!

I actually purchased this product for a very specific purpose: as a dish to hold crumb mixtures when coating chicken, fish, etc. It's wide enough to handle most pieces of fish (and certainly chicken breast), and is just deep enough to help keep crumbs in the bowl. But, it has such a smooth, clean design, I immediately started using it as a serving bowl. And, because it's ovenproof, it's become a frequently used baking dish. A great purchase for my kitchen.

this is the perfect dish for a large batch of flan. wish i had this plate years ago. plate has a nice hefty weight to it. looking forward to using it for roasting. now i have to purchase three more because all my daughters want one for xmas. well worth the hefty price.

I purchased this dish to use in my combination convection/microwave oven because of the perfect size. It is so handy that I purchased a second one from Amazon. It is the right size for Pampered Chef and Bisquick recipes--nothing oozes over the edge as it does with a regular 9" pie plate.

Love this dish for all types of baking or table serving needs, it stores easily.... but keep it close. you'll be using it!

I like the larger dish size of this dish. this dish will be used a lot more than our other smaller dishes

This fits my micro/ convection oven and is fantastic for roasting. Love the fact that it can handle small roasts as well as an elegant dessert.
