This book had lots of ideas with good photographs. Instructions for some projects, but not all. (I guess some projects were easy to figure out by looking at the photos.) Some ideas I never would have thought of myself, so the book gave me numerous ideas for my own miniature garden containers. I like the conversion tables included and suggestions on how to care for and prune the plants. I found the book to be helpful!

I had hoped to the book would provide instructions for making simple furniture and props, but it doesn’t quite do that

I belong to a garden club in Florida and, for the first time, we will have miniature gardens in our next flower show "Fairy Tales''. I purchased two of these books for our the club library. This book gives great detail and information on miniature gardening. I will add a photo after the show in April 2019!

Great book! Lots of great ideas and easy instructions for DIY! Really got my imagination going and helped me build several things for my fairy garden! Bought this book for my Sister too!

Janit has written a fun additional DIY book for the miniature gardener. The photos are very clear and appealing. The list of needed tools and supplies is very thorough. The chapters are themed and easy to follow and give plenty of information to complete the ideas presented. I only wish it had more.

Zunächst einmal ist dies ein wirklich schönes Buch. Darin sind gute Ideen enthalten, wie man Miniaturgärten gestalten kann. Es sind viele Bilder in Farbe enthalten, zumeist einmal in der Totale und mehrere Teilszenen. Das würde wirklich Lust auf mehr machen. Da liegt dann aber auch der Haken. Ich hätte mir auch Anleitungen erhofft, die einzelne Bestandteile genauer erklären um es nachbasteln zu können. Dem war leider nicht so. Ich bastle wirklich gern, bin in der freien Umsetzung (ohne Anleitung) aber eine totale Niete.Anleitungstechnisch war es für mich eigentlich ein Fehlkauf, aber aufgrund des gut gemachten Buches dann trotzdem o.k.
