I have been looking for a salon that sells genuine Moroccan oil, hard to find here. I was going to go right to their website, I still may. But I got the light version verses the regular version. It’s not as thick as the regular one, other wise works the same and works great. Whether you put it in wet or dry hair, my hair never looks or feels heavy or oily, it absorbs into the actual hair, and leaves hair soft. Smells great too with a mild scent. In a hotter area where I tend to be I’ll prob stick with the light verses original, but I honestly don’t think that matters. I think it’s a preference whether you want it thinner or thicker for an oil.

I am 37 year old with fine, thinner type hair. I was recently diagnosed with scalp psoriasis even though I have never experienced any type of scalp issues before. The steroid shampoo they prescribed me leaves my hair lifeless and my hair breaks off.I am very careful with what I use in my hair. I seen where this girl I went to church with was raving about this product. I was extremely skeptical on buying "oil". I read a lot of reviews and researched which treatment I should get (light? original? purple?) but for my hair type I went with light.I bought the shampoo and conditioner plus the oil and spent around $222 for all three. When I tell you I have NEVER spent that much on a hair product I mean I have NEVER spent that much on hair product.These came in the mail yesterday. I put the scalp psoriasis shampoo around the edges like I always do, added the shampoo to my damp scalp and let it soak for about 30 minutes, then I rinsed it and left conditioner in my hair for three minutes, brushed my hair out, and added the oil. I towel dried my hair just a little bit then I started from a few inches away from my scalp (so I didn't irritate it) and thoroughly fingered the oil through my hair. I blow dried my hair because I was SO SCARED of it turning my hair oily and flat.After just ONE use of all three products my hair LITERALLY FEELS LIKE SATIN!!!!! It did NOT weigh my hair down nor did it make it oily AT ALL so if you experienced oily hair from this product you did something terrible wrong.I will forever be a fan of this product and it was WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!!!!!Just buy this product or don't it will just make more available for me as I continue to buy.Ohhhhhhh.........did I mention the smell!!!!!!

I have very dry hair and this makes them silky and not oily. I tried many products this one works best on my dry hair

I never leave reviews. But I told myself I would leave an honest review for those who see and actually care about them. I LOVE this oil. For months my ends have been DRY and I been buying all kinds of stuff and leave ins. After using this my hair is shiny, soft, and not dry! Again, I love it. Only need a little dot like dime size!

I love Moroccanoil!!! The smell is amazing! I have very thin and fine hair. It makes it super soft and not greasy! I will definitely buy again!

I used this when i was consistently bleaching my hair so my ends were extremely dry and brittle. I am not promoting that this cures split ends and breakage, BUT it definitely helped with the over all feeling of my hair. I only used small amounts on both wet and dry hair. The size lasted me a few months because the oil is very thick and as stated before, a little goes a long way. Its a good product and worked nicely for me!

I tried the original product, and while it was okay, it made my hair oily pretty quickly and weighed it down. Then I found this light version, and OMG—it’s amazing! My hair feels soooo smooth and super shiny without the heaviness or greasiness. I was curious, so I used it as a pre-treatment today: applied bottom to half way shaft of my hair, washed my scalp with my regular shampoo (no conditioner) and blow-dried on cool. As I brushed through sections that were dry, I could instantly feel how smooth my hair was—like, really smooth. I even had to snap a few (of the below mentioned) pics because I was so impressed, lol. Not heavy, not oily, just soft and shiny! I’ve tried tons of oils, but this one is a top contender as far as smooth and shininess goes.**Sensitive Scalp Crew**: this is not a silicone free oil. this is not a fragrance free hair oil, it has synthetic fragrance. So if your scalp's a bit on the sensitive side, steer clear of applying this oil near your roots altogether. Focus on the ends and mid-length of your hair instead. Regularly applying it too close to your scalp could lead to scalp issues like acne, dandruff, dermatitis, etc. Keep it light lovelies!if you a *really* have sensitive scalp, do not use this.Living Proof, JVN, and a few others have silicone free anti frizz products you could look into.xx

This is my favorite hair oil! It smells amazing and makes my hair soft not greasy. You can put it in your hair when it is damp or dry. I have tried several other hair oils but none come even close to this one! Get it!!!
