There pretty mats light weight and there suppose to be heat resistant however I noticed after having dinner and removing a warm plate from the mat this is what was left on my new glass table I had to use windex and a hard piece of plastic to rub off whatever that was from the mat and this happened on all four or the mats,Tried to email the seller but no one answered me smh Oh well I guess you get what you pay for and Now I must by new table mats...

Leaks through. What is the point of using this placemat if is not going to protect the table? Returned.

I tend to spill a lot of food meant for my mouth. Since I eat most of my meals off of a TV tray, the tray was becoming unsightly and, well, sticky. I picked up these place mats not knowing whether they would do the job or not. Fact is, I lucked out. These mats catch the food that didn't make the complete trip from fork to mouth, and easy to carry to the sink and rinse off. And these mats are attractive. Truth is, just dumb luck I picked the right ones. I'm an old guy, and dont know a damn thing about products like these. Rather be lucky than good. This is what you're looking for if you share my problem. I'll tell ya, buy em. Buy em! Joe

We thought these were great at first. They clean up easy and look attractive as far as place mats go. I eat frozen lean cuisine meals occasionally that are microwaved. Basically a TV dinner. The heat has transferred through the mat and basically scorched the wood. We bought these only to protect our table from heat which they have failed to do.Move on to a different product if you need heat resistance.

They look nice when clean. That’s really the only good quality. They stain easily and are very time consuming to clean if you can get them clean at all. They don’t keep the table clean and can’t be wiped clean since liquid passes through them. Can’t go in washing machine or dishwasher, you have to scrub the spots out with a brush, in my case daily for 6 people, total waste of money.

Interesting product based on the material. Great look which changes a bit with lighting or which direction you are looking at. Wanted a tone-on-tone look and they did that on a wood table. My only usage observation is they do slide around a bit. Very easy to clean with running water or just a sponge. Might fray over time but for the price a very good purchase.

Some people complained that these are not heat resistant. Of course not. They are not advertised as such. They are decorative placemats, made of vinyl. I bought these in blue and am very pleased with them. I like that there are several shades of blue, and depending on the light they seem to look different at different angles.. I gave it 4 stars for cleaning because you really have to get the stain up pretty quickly. Yes, they are porous. Meant to be. But usually only liquid can fall through. I happen to have a heavy duty plastic on top of my tablecloth, so no worries. Otherwise, I would just wash the tablecloth. I also gave 4 stars for durablility but that is only because I do not have them for a long time, and if I cannot get up some stains I may have to discard these. Hasn’t happened yet, and don’t think it will for a long time. So far just happy with my purchase.

I really like these. Easy to clean, they look sharp, and they do a great job protecting my table from armies of goblins.

Me agrada el material, sin duda y con un buen trato será durable. En cuanto a la estructura de como está hecho, está bien, sólo que si requiere un poco más de dedicación para limpiar los pequeños orificios. El color es ni más ni menos que el que muestran y por lo cual más que otra cosa lo pedí. Llego en tiempo y en muy buen estado.

Excelentes manteles, gran colorido, combinan a la perfección con mi comedor, resistentes y lavables.
