Reasonable for the price
Considering how inexpensive these pins are compared to others available from "quality, name brand sewing suppliers" I can't complain too much about these. (Seriously, 800 of these were the same price as 100 of one of the big names in sewing's product.) But they're definitely not perfect.First, the heads on the batch I got ARE glass (I've seen some people say they're plastic but mine are glass) but they're not quite 3mm. They're more like 25-27mm, which to my fumbling fingers does make a difference. They're still larger than the ones I replaced with these, and truly, the head size works fairly well, I have decided, as I've been using them.I've seen people complain that they got a bunch of pins that were not sharp. Mine almost all seem to be sharp--few or no blunt ones in my batch, but there does seem to be a bit of a variation in wire thickness in some cases, and several of them arrived bent. Still, we're talking like maybe 5% of them are bent, which again, given the price, isn't terrible. I've noticed, though, that some of them do bend fairly easily, so I don't know how well these are going to stand up to, say, pinning through a few layers of denim or even quilting cotton. Time will tell.Mine came in in 8 little containers, each containing a different color. I kind of like that. It's handy being able to pick a contrasting color to use for a project.

❤Great sewing pins!!❤
Great sewing pins! Just like the ones I grew up learning how to sew with and the ones like my Grandma always used! They are very sharp..not full of tiny nicks like a lot of cheaper pins are. Not quite as long as a quilter's pin but longer than your usual sewing pins. They will work great for pinning patterns to fabric! I was very impressed with these pins and would definitely recommend them! They are of good quality & look like they will last a long time! I love to sew when I have good notions and these are good!❤

A Bit too Thin!
These are nice pins just was hoping they would a bit bigger in diameter. They are very fine pins and work well with delicate and lighter fabrics - guess I am used to a bit sturdier pin.

Gotta have glass head pins!
I really like glass headed pins. At 1 1/2" they are wonderful to work with. These were nice, but the heads were too small for my old fingers to work with happily. Am on the hunt for a larger head and will share these with someone with more nimble fingers.

Great pins
I would have preferred that the head of the pins be a bit bigger. That is strictly a matter of preference overall they were a great product. I used them while making a comforter and they easily went through two layers of heavy flannel material and a layer of quilt batting.

Good Long PIns
I needed these for a quilting project. Regular pins were too short to go through all the layers. These pins are long and have a nice sharp point to go through and hold all the layers. I would buy them again.

Use them for henna
I've searched for so long for color coded pins for henna cones and these are so perfect. They come packed so nicely in tiny boxes. Easy to reorganize
