I hate giving bad reviews. I truly feel obligated to submit this review as I feel that it is an image product. The straps are fairy easy to install. Although, they also loosen and fall off easily as well. We drive not even 3 miles at 20mph and had to stop 7xs to tighten a strap. In those 3 miles we were also sliding around as if we didn’t have straps or as they call chains. These are not at all considered chains and are not permitted by Cal Trans to use for a chain only area. Our car had much better traction without this product. We had to remove, stop and purchase actual chains/ cables to proceed over the pass while traveling in the snow. Once removed we also noticed damage to the straps. Which makes sense as these are hard plastic with metal screw like pieces across the flat area and nylon straps with buckles that go through your wheels to secure on to the tire. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I’m am shocked that this product is allowed in the market to sell. Completely unsafe!!

W e had the most miserable time with these snow chains. We bought two packs and we went through them within 10-12 miles. Each clip came off one by one. By the time we were at the peak we had to rely on 2 or 3 on each wheel. We sled a few tunes very badly, so we were forced to purchase real snow chains. Do not risk your family’s life by buy these. Buy the real thing.

The roadside inspectors mentioned this is not approved in California. Luckily there was no inspection. Easy to put on. Hard to remove as it tightens while driving. Can't drive over 25mph as it creates bumpy sound and effect

We bought them for her car, when she could not get traction and got stranded in Idaho for 2 hours, until the tow truck got her back up the hill. She has used them twice and loves them.

Haven't used them yet but they sure are easy to put on and they fit multiple vehicles.

Got a great emergency snow chain in high quality bag so it can be easy to keep them and store them in one place when you need that

I installed these on my front tires to get up my 1200 foot driveway ONE TIME. They flew off, every one of the ten I had on, before I got anywhere near the top. I haven't found any of them yet, and I don't know if they've done any damage to the underside of my car, but I'm glad I was just in my driveway. If we'd been stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere with this junk, I'd be pretty angry. Don't buy these, get real chains.
