It was only packaged in an envelope and the tin had a big dent in it but the pencils were fine. They color great and I will continue to buy this brand, just pack them a bit better

We love these pencils. Grandson is 12 and he won't use any other brand. He draws and want to be an architect. Says these pencils are the Best.if you write light it is light if you press for more color. The flexibility in color is great.

I personally much prefer oil based pencils. But I also like to have wax pencils to use in combination with my oil pencils when nessecary. While I do have some more expensive sets I am always on the look out for budget sets. With all that in mind, the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because of my own personal preferences. As far as quality these are a 5. They're not prismacolors but for the price you will not find better wax pencils. But what I love THE MOST about this set is the shades. The shades are phenomenal. Irreplaceable. I haven't a set oil or wax that comes to being as great for skintones as this set. I bought both light and dark as I think they bring out the best in each other. Also the monarch set has some great skintone shades so all 3 sets and you could create any skintone or hair color. I LOVE the shadow and undertones in this. The purple grey. The shades of brown and tan, the olive and gold and pink undertones... warm and cool undertones. Shades for warmth and cheek blush. Shades for shadows and contouring the shape of the face. Hair highlights and low lights. I haven't found better shades any where. These feel so comfortable in the hand. They don't take much effort AT ALL to get a nice thick lay down. If your hands get tired or you are someone who prefers to have a thick lay down instead of tons of layers, these are for you. I love the black wood. The color dipped tips and the easy to read color names and numbers. I saw someone complain about names. Now I'm like 99% sure these names are taken from suggestions by customers and fans. Mud is not a name calling that skintone mud. It was a color name that happened to later be put into a skintone set. It is also a shadow color for fair skin and a hair tone for brunettes and a eye color for brown eyed people. And Negra means black in a few languages. I think that was quite a reach for something to complain about honestly. The only issue I take with these pencils is the wax bloom. Like I said I personally much prefer oil pencils. I like a slow lay down and building layers. I know I may be in the minority. A lot of people especially coloring book enthusiasts prefer a waxy pencil. These are so easy to use and creamy. They are very very satisfying to use. And someone with hands that tend to cramp or arthritis will love these. Also you will definitely need a color swatch. The color dips are a great way to understand the shades in relation to each other while looking at them in the tin, but on paper they show different. But still beautiful. All In all these are incredible pencils for the price. You won't find better for the price. If you like wax based pencils you won't want to miss these. I find them to be irreplaceable in my collection.

I love these colored pencils to give me a targeted selection of colors that can capture skin tones. Anyone who enjoys coloring/drawing/sketching would love to have such a set. High quality pencils , smooth application to paper and comfortable grip

Finally got a chance to try these out. I used it on cardstock paper. I must say, I have so many different kinds of colored pencils from Prismacolor to Caran D'Ache to Derwent, and others. For the price of these pencils, they do not disappoint. I was really impressed with the way they laid down color. What I especially like about them is the blendability and the fact that you do not have to sharpen them every five minutes. I sharpened one because I thought I needed more of a sharp point, then regretted it. For laying down color for skin tones, the pre-sharpened pencils work just fine. I worked on my picture for hours and still have not had to sharpen the pencils. It barely looks like I have used it. I highly recommend these pencils. I brought the dark skin tone set first. After liking them so much I then ordered the light skin tone set. Both sets work well together. I think these will be one of my favorite sets of pencils. Hurry up and get them before people realize how nice they are and the manufacturer decides to jack the price up. You guys know that is what happens once something gets really popular. If you are a professional artist you may disagree. I am not, but I know I love these pencils. The only reason I will not post a pic to show you how gorgeous the color is, is because I reproduced a print on cardstock without consent of the artist. The coloring book it was produced from is so beautiful I did not want to color in it. So yeah, I really love these pencils. Once I use them on one of my own drawings, I will post it.

I can’t wait to use my pencils ✏️ the colors are vibrant, quality, smooth, fun to create and blend 🤗. My 1st time using color pencils I’m marker & gel so I’m excited. I’m sure ✏️ will break regardless it’s a colored 🤷🏾‍♀️

Qualité vraiment très intéressante. J'ai même commandé d'autres crayons de cette marque après avoir utilisés ceux-ci. Ils glissent bien sur le papier, les couleurs se mélangent bien entre elles et il ne faut vraiment pas beaucoup de pression pour déposer de la couleur, même qu'il est assez facile de faire des marques. L'assortiment de couleurs est très intéressant et donne d'excellents résultats mais je l'accompagne toujours de celui pour peaux foncé, car cet ensemble ne contient aucun marron.

So I'm a disabled person I broke my neck im mobile but I suffer constant pain and I find solace when im coloring. I used to use prismacolors cuz they were supposed to be the best but I bought the black widow skins sets because I seen an ad they were made by somebody for disabled people he wanted them to have pro quality pencils at an affordable price for them .then I was reached out to by someone named Albert and this is the first time this has ever happened to me so I was a little surprised and he offered me the monarch set and the monarch set has arrived and I colored a picture with them and they are absolutely stunning pencils and I'm so glad that he reached out to me and I will be buying the rest as soon as I can afford to so thank you Albert for the set of pencils and to anybody who colors these pencils are absolutely amazing in every way. The black pencil casing is beautiful the colors are rich and creamy and they don't wear out real quick . I'm going to put a picture of what I used the monarchs for well it'll be the first of many I cant thank you enough medihealth and thank you Albert color on :)

al vele recencies over gelezen op diverse fb pagina's over kleuren voor volwassenen, toen werd ik toch nieuwsgierig. Deze week de nu beschikbare serie van 5 soorten (BW spider, scorpion, cobra, skin dark en skin light) ontvangen en ik ben zeer verrast over de kwaliteit, de zachtheid van de potloden en zeker ook van de kleurafgifte in de lichte kleuren, zeker gezien de prijs. Hoewel nog niet aan de orde is het jammer dat er geen losse potloden verkrijgbaar zijn om later te vervangen. Maar gezien de prijs per set, is dat ook niet onoverkomelijk.

value for money, great quality colouring pencils, hours of fun. Fantastic colour shades, string sturdy pencils. Easy grip. My young adult daughter loved these and uses them for colouring her adult colouring books. great skin tones for faces on the artwork.
