Q: What’s the shelf life?

Hello, while there is no explicit shelf life attached to our coatings, they can typically last for many years provided that they are stored under our recommended conditions. The lid should be tightly sealed by using a rubber mallet around the edges and stored at room temperature and not allowed to hit freezing. If the paint has spoiled, it will have a foul odor akin to spoiled milk or food in general. Some settling may occur with any paint and stirring is a good way to bring it back to consistency.

Q: Can this paint be bought in any Benjamin Moore color?

Hello, we currently offer the Cabinet Coat Paint Enamel in White and can tint with Universal colorants only (Tint Base 1, 2, 3 & 4).

Q: Can you put it on stain furniture

Hello, Cabinet Coat can be used on stained furniture. We recommend to apply a coat of primer when coating over stain. A good primer choice is Insl-X Prime Lock Plus.

Q: Can I thin out paint? If so with what?

I Wouldn't thin this paint. Nice finish but It took at least 4 layers of paint to cover un-thinned using my paint sprayer.
