Don't trade under the influence of alcohol or tired! Love it!
Wish I would've read this book first in my forex journey. The book is great for beginners and I believe a great read. It will get you started with the basic terms and some of the forex lingo. As a current live account successful trader i really enjoyed the part where you wrote "Don't trade while under the influence of alcohol or tired". If you follow that one bit of advice the book is just pure Gold. The book is not trying to sell you on it being the holy grail but exactly what the title reads Forex for beginners.

Excellent little book that explains everything you need to know to start trading the Forex.
This is a well written, concise little book that gives you all the pointers you need to understand what the Forex and pips are. I found it a quick and enjoyable read, got if finished in less than an hour. Now I feel I know everything I need to start trading currency pairs. And, being the book is free, you can't go wrong.

Seems like a good book to start building a foundation on Forex trading
Seems like a good book to start building a foundation on Forex trading. I have little knowledge in this area and nothing to compare it to, but it seemed to be an easy read for me, and points made to be understandable. Makes me want to learn more about the subject...

Good intro to forex trading
This is a good introduction to forex trading and the forex market in general in an easy to understand English. The author did a good job making some of the jargons understandable.

Very, very basic overview
This book does a good job of explaining what Forex is, but doesn't say at all how to make money, or even how to really get into Forex besides saying that you can make an account online with a broker. The book is really what you would expect in the first day of a high school business class, and nothing more.No tips on how to make money, except, "buy low sell high" kind of advice. Also, the last few pages are all just promotions for the authors other books, so the actual book is not 52 pages. Having 1-2 pages of promotions is fine in my opinion, but having more than 2 is just unnecessary. On Amazon the book looks like a 52 page book when in reality it should say something in the 40's. Regardless, I digress.Once again, a simple web search would get you what this book contains, and there is no hidden value (like how to make money!)

Pretty good intro to forex
This was a fast read. I skipped over many sections, that I'm already familiar with and focused on actual trading strategies. The books was free at the time, so I had no regrets about downloading it. Most forex books bog you down with discussion on how forex works. This books has a lighter intro, which I preferred. Then went on to the strategies where I focused on the most. I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in forex.

Very informative, especially for beginners. Just a few grammatical errors, guess that’s why it was free.

Simple, clear and easy to follow.
Having decided to take up trading two years ago ive read no end of material on the subject.James' book is clear and concise, telling you exactly what is needed to forge ahead in the industry. Each chapter is a natural progression that follows the necessary steps; the only thing it won't give you is the self discipline needed to succeed.A good read that I shall be coming back to as reference material.

How to make money - NOT!
Yet another basic intro to forex with not one word that you can't find better said elsewhere on the web for free. The nearest it gets to actually telling you how to make money is to say 'follow the trend'. How? Ah, apparently that's beyond the scope of the book.Trite.

Nice Starter
Can't make any major criticisms as its a free book on kindle. It's a solid read for those (like myself) whom are looking into trading, the book introduces many strategies and info on trading but doesn't delve too deeply in it.I just think the pacing was a little off toward the end so much information gets crammed in, I will have to read another book; as this book suggests to do so but I do believe I've got better understanding of how to trade.Thank You.

Excellent for the absolute beginner
I am an absolute beginner and this short book has given me a simple insight on the FOREX market, terminology used and the importance of a strategy.James Stuart explains in each chapter the basics and the importance of additional research.I am now going to take his good advice and dig deeper as well as opening a demo account.

An ok paper but not objective
Overall, it's a very simple book that scratches the surface of the Trading world.I'm not convinced about its objectivity. Especially since, on the the first pages, before explaining general concepts, the author tell us to absolutely go for a specified broker. As a new started; I would have liked to now more of the background of the author.I would advise to read this book with a pinch of salt, but more importantly to cross the knowledge by reading other books to make your own mind.
