A plug wrench is a plug wrench
This is a very basic tool designed for a very specific plumbing task. Feels like pretty low cost build quality, like cast aluminum, but I guess one does not need much to accomplish its task. After the fact, I looked at them at several hardware stores and they all look identical, aside from the name on the label. The only thing I can add is that there are at least 3 different sizes of this type of wrench. This one is the smallest of the three. I needed to disconnect drain from my jet tub and found out that it was the wrong size (too small). So I ended up buying a larger one and put this one in storage. After the purchase I learned that I could get a tool which looks and feels exactly the same for about half price at a mass-retailer known for their cheap tools (H.F.T.). When it fits, I am sure it would do its job as any other similar wrench.

Will not remove old flange
No way this would remove my rusted, corroded drain flange. Good for installation after removal with other tools.
