TaylorMade RocketBallz RBZ Iron Set

Love these clubs, though I hated them at first. Why, because I couldn't hit a green to save my life, then I finally figured it out. Grab one club smaller than I thought I needed. Admittedly I did have some issues at first pulling shots left, think that's caused by my non smooth acceleration and bad form, was no longer fading with the stiffer shafts on these compared to my old clubs.I am sure you will see some reviewers, saying don't buy clubs without getting fitted ones, but if you play at the level I do. Saving more than 1/2 the cost is worth it, compared to the gains. I say that because two weeks after buying these I went to a demo day at a golf shop, they were selling the same set, with less clubs (no wedges or 4 iron) for twice what I paid for these on Amazon.Will I spend more for a fitted set in a few years, probably but for now, my swing isn't very consistent from week to week, and these have helped me shave a few strokes from my average game this last summer. I hope to enjoy these for a few more years, and if I continue to improve consider getting fitted clubs.

These are perhaps just a bit longer than my old clubs (Taylormade Bubble graphites from 1995) mainly in the longer irons because the loft is one club lower... the 5 iron has the loft of a my old 4 iron and so on down to the pitching wedge which is a standard lofted club. But they launch the ball much higher and have a tremendous amount of forgivness on slight mis-hits. The 4 and 5 irons seem to have a slight Draw bias to them,at least for me, which is good. Overall a very nice rather inexpensive new set of clubs that should help anyone's game. I bought the steel reg shaft 4 iron thru AW set (no hybrids all standard irons) . They also look very nice at address... not bulky or thick as some other brands look. Note you must use the lowest grove (painted white) to align the club face at address... the top of the club is slightly offset. A couple trips to the range will help make this club alignment part of your normal set-up sequence. Highly recommended.

I am replacing my ping i3 blades with this set. I used these clubs most of last season and find they are very forgiving and have a great feel. Distance is better with the senior shaft which should be expected as I was using stiff shafts before; not so good for 65 years old. Quick launch, high trajectory, good bite on the green. Highly recommended.

TaylorMade's RocketBallz irons had been out for about 2 years or so when I bought them, I am fairly new to golf so I didn't need anything super fancy but I wanted some nice clubs. In this price range I dont think you can find better. I only thing I don't like about them is the feel of the grips; chances are I'll replace them soon.

Fore! I thought I was getting the Original RBZ iron set as advertised. I actually received the HP (High Polished) set. Photo shown is also HP. Bottom line is that it's the same great set of irons but the look is different. The original RBZ irons have a matte finish as opposed to the high polish. Just so you know! I think it was an honest error by a clerk. Hopefully they correct the error after seeing this! Happy hunting-

The quality is great & the clubs arrived sooner than expected. The reason I gave the clubs 4 stars is that I was only able to use them twice before our season closed where we live, so I haven't got a good feel for them yet. I'm looking at a couple options for the winter so I'll be ready when they open the courses again next year.

I'm an average golfer. Took these to the driving range and felt a difference but not impressed. Took them to a course where i normally shoot around 50 for 9 holes. I quickly noticed a yardage difference of 1-2 clubs, the flight was high and landed firm. I knocked 4-5 strokes off my game and i'm loving these clubs.

Nice set of clubs.They are a bit longer than what I've had in the past.Distance wise they play average.I recommend adjusting the lie, I adjusted mine 2 degrees after I got them and they are much more accurate.Overall a great buy for the cost!
