Amazing, two issues read review.
Amazing product, it looks sturdy and well built. The lining for the bag keeps the liquid cool. Two Velcro straps hold the liquid bag in place nicely. Zippers appear to be good quality and zip smoothly. There are only two issues I have with this product which is why it got 4 stars.First, the retention tag that holds the lid onto the bag when you remove the cap is too small. It comes out easily.Second, and this one is big. Scanning the warranty activation QR code on the bag takes me to a website that does not exist. A google search gave me nothing as well.

Nice backpack for shorter hikes - okay for short jogs.
This backpack almost got 3 stars and it almost got 5 stars. I'm not sure how I feel about it after going on a few 8 mile hikes and a couple of runs. I'm 5'9, 155 pounds, and this backpack still manages to not adjust correctly. I did in fact not receive the rotatable clip for holding the tip of my water nozzle, but the company made it right so I'm not going to fuss about it. In fact, the customer service was very pleasant to deal with and responded very quickly.Cons: The backpack sits too low on your back (touching your butt); which is not good for running or hiking long treks. If you want the sternum straps to actually be on your sternum and not below your breasts (or chest), then the backpack will be touching the top of your butt. See my photos and you can see where the straps sit on my front side. This backpack would have gotten higher ratings if the top strap was removable and adjustable in that manner. As far as cons go, that's about it. The backpack doesn't sit right for long runs, but is not bad for short jogs under a couple of miles. So I would give it 3 stars for running. This backpack gets between 4 and 5 stars for hiking, but gets uncomfortable after 5 or 6 miles of steep inclines.Pros: Nice, compact backpack for throwing a few snacks and a lightweight rain jacket into. The insulated pocket for the water bladder keeps the water cold for a couple of hours on warmer days and several hours on cooler days (given you add ice).. Perfect amount of pockets and zippers for organizing your smaller gear like flashlights, keys, pocket knives, snacks, phones, headphones, etc..This backpack took a while to get wet when it started snowing on my last hike, but it's small enough to fit under a rain coat to keep everything dry if need be..I love the looks and material of this backpack; it does not feel cheap in any way. The zippers have held up very nicely. The patch it comes with is awesome. So all in all, it depends on how extreme of a runner\hiker you are. You can also ride dirtbikes with this as it works just fine. If you aren't going on some crazy long day trip: then this is probably for you. I will continue using this for my less extreme adventures, but not so much for anything over 10 miles.

Junk. Choked on the valve from the mouthpiece which broke off on first use
What a piece of crap. The bag is fine, but the water bag inside is junk. I got this during the week, filled it on Friday for a Saturday event. The VERY FIRST TIME I tried to take a drink the valve stem broke and I choked on it. Fortunately I coughed it up. I'm stunned that this is so poorly made to be a choking hazard. So I tried to take a drink and it broke off in my mouth. Then it drained water and I had to buy gallons from 7-11. Seriously, this is the crappiest hydration pack I've ever had. It's too bad, the bag is fine but the water sack is crap.DO NOT BUY. I rarely bother with reviews, but this product is so poorly made it's dangerous. I based my purchase off the positive reviews, but I have to say this product is DANGEROUS and provides a choking hazard. Now I have to find a box to send this piece of junk back in.

Half price, half excellence?
I took my SHARKMOUTH Tactical MOLLE Hydration Pack for a 4 mile, first outing today &...it doesn't suck. The dregs from 2 liters of iced water still held a few cubes after 1-1/2 hours in sunny, mid 80s weather. Bladder was free of leaks, bad odor or bad flavor. The first flaw was noted while loading the filled bladder in the insulated pocket. The velcro tabs to hold up the bladder are haphazardly sewn in rather than aligned with the slots on the bladder. They still manage to prevent "slouch in the pouch." The bite valve dust cover came off repeatedly. The bite valve leaks enough that I had to suck air from the drinking tube every time. Aside from the velcro misplacement the stitching & materials look good. Compared to the starting prices of C@melB@k gear this isn't a bad deal. Is it?To provide perspective for the attached photos I'm a leggy 6'-1", weigh 200 lbs & wear a 40 long coat.

Good for the price
I got this to replace a 9 year old CamelBak mule. I had lost the bladder and there's some mountain bike crash damage on the bag. A replacement was long over due.Based on the reviews, this looked like it would be and adequate replacement, but I was wrong. The build quality isn't that great. It fits oddly on the shoulders. Once the straps are cinched down, there aren't any built in bungee loops or velcro straps to tuck away the excess. The hydration bladder is a whole other issue. I was getting air bubbles to no end when sucking on it. I figured out, that happens when you pull the valve out all the way. You need to pull it out part way for a steady flow of water. That's a pretty poor design as it shouldn't leak air at all let alone when fully open. Basically, if you try to open the valve all the way for the most flow of water, you'll get more air than water. If you open it just a little (maybe 20% open), you'll get good water flow with no air bubbles.I always tell people. "Buy nice or buy twice." I should've followed my own advice on this one.

Excellent, expecially for the price
Used this for a 6-hour Airsoft Milsim, it performed exactly how I hoped. For the pricez this is an amazing purchase. Decent amount of space for carrying stuff even with a full hydro bag. It looks good, works well, and it's cheap. Definitely would recommend. One potential issue is I was unable to test whether or not it was waterproof and to what extent, I would not expect it to keep too much water out just based on the material feel, but I could be wrong. Regardless, it's an excellent buy for the price and airsoft/hiking use.

Love it
This is a great hydration pack as well as a general overall use backpack. Comfortable and light, just the right amount of storage for hiking, biking or any other kind of outdoor activity.
