The bags are fantastic! Sturdy, easy to use, and very well made for any type of food storage. My only complaint is the packaging! I purchased these to reduce my plastic usage. They came inside a paper box (good!), but every item was individually wrapped in plastic! I would have given it 5 stars if the company had thought of a more sustainable packaging system.

I had a really hard time getting them to open!! But the trick is to use warm water over the opening (zipper area) the warm water loosen the plastic holder and they slide like a charm. I'm not quite sure they will be used as much as I had thought. A little bulky to use instead of regular plastic bag but I'll give it a good try - the idea was to reduce my footprint.Update: used the bags to marinate meat & poultry and they worked superbly! No mess, very easy to use, no spills! I'm quite surprised at how easier it made my life. The clean up was much better than expected. Overall it's a great product.

i purchased these in my quest to reduce waste. i wanted to replace plastic lunch baggies. these bags are pretty thick and a bit heavy and are not really a substitute for sandwich bags. but, i keep finding a use for them and even get a little annoyed when i cant find a clean one! i buy most of my food from a bulk/warehouse store so these are great for breaking things up into reasonable sized packages. they go well from freezer to fridge to dishwasher (but its easier to hand wash). i hate stains and odors on my food storage items and i have experienced neither with these. i definitely recommend these and will likely buy another set.

These are very difficult to open and close. The plastic slider is cumbersome and annoying to use. It takes a lot of muscle and finessing and makes the process of opening and closing a pain each time. The cleaning process is also frustrating. Because of the collapsible bottom, the water pools on them in the dishwasher. I have to carefully take them out of the dishwasher and dump the water out in the sink so it doesn’t get the rest of the clean dishes wet. My mom got me a stasher brand reusable ziploc for Christmas, and I much prefer that. No issues with opening/closing and no bottom pocket to pool water in the dishwasher. Much more expensive, but worth it in my opinion. I’ll be slowly replacing these with those.

One more step towards zero waste!Easy to use and clean in the dishwasher.I love using reusable items instead of disposable, so much better for the environment (we're also use cloth diapers and bees wax wraps, and the silicone bags are a great addition!)

I initially purchased these to freeze my chicken as I would buy it in big packs and freeze the breasts individually. But as I've used these for a long time they are so versatile and better than any plastic bags or tupperware I've used. I love that I'm not using a plastic bag to just throw away after I'm done with it, and I feel like it stores things a lot better than traditional tupperware. It is also a lot easier to store when not using it since they fold up flat and fit in any drawer.And if you're worried about cleaning it after using, don't be! They clean up fine with soap and hot water, and if you prop them up they dry just like any normal dish.

Extremely happy with these silicone bags, I mainly use it to freeze my baby’s puréed food and chose this company because it comes with a steady holder that helps tremendously, I never have to worry of it tipping over! very quick and easy to thaw and wam up in the pot too!

Initial review...I purchased silicone bags from two different companies so I could compare them. Outside of the brand name and the various sizes I got with my other order, these look exactly the same. However, they were a lot harder to open and came with additional packaging. Each bag came sealed in a plastic sleeve. The directions said to remove the wax paper and wash before use however there wasn't any wax paper to be found. It took quite a bit of effort under running hot water to pry these open the first time. We will see how they last.
