I've owned many expensive, unique pens over the years - given them as gifts, etc. I've never owned one as unique as this one - all for the price of a trip to Starbucks. Love the weight, smooth writing and the way the grip pattern feels in my hand. Construction feels more like a high-end camera than a typical pen. In a world of cheap plastic pens and overpriced pieces of pen-jewelry, why no one has build a precision mechanical device like this, is beyond me. Well I guess now they have - kudos to the Tactical Ballpoint Pen team!

So this pen is great everything it says it is bit if it falls straight down and hits the ink cartridge it will break. The pen is heavy and some of the parts in the mechanism that makes the ink retract are plastic and won't withstand a direct hit. If I can find a heavy duty mechanism to replace the one that broke I will because aside from this one weekness it is still the pen for me.I am upping my rating to a 4.0 because take flight has gone above and beyond to make things right. Great customer service guys! And as long as you don’t drop the pen straight down while the ink is extended it is a great pen and the perfect tactical device.

This pen not only looks amazing, but it is surprisingly light-weight and ergonomic. I was initially concerned that such a bulky pen was going to be more useful as a novelty rather than as a serious writing implement, but those concerns quickly disappeared when i started writing. The pen is very comfortable in the hand and nimble. I like to write in cursive and this pen easily flows on the page. So far the ink cartridge is smooth and consistent, and the pen comes with a spare ink cartridge which is cool.I am military with years of experience writing in the field in various operational environments using different kinds of writing implements with different types of gloves. Although I have not yet used this pen with gloves on, I can tell that it will be quite easy to use in the field with gloves. And the sturdy construction leaves no doubt that his pen would be quite durable in the toughest conditions, even combat conditions.I highly recommend this pen to anyone looking for a sturdy field pen or looking for a unique, functional writing implement for around the office. I know that I will be buying more of these.

I ordered this pen on good friday and it arrived Easter Sunday just before 11 am. Packaged nicely, arrived on time, the pen is built very well. Aircraft aluminum is light but this pen has some definite weight to it. I will be proud to carry it everyday. My neighbor is a police officer and saw it. He ordered one an hour later. I will be buying more. very very satisfied......

Nice pen. Not sure about the negative reviews as I didn't have any of the issues they stated. No instructions, but it is really just a basic screw-together pen. Takes a standard papermate refill, so I don't see any issues there. I tend to use a Cross pen for most times at work, but wanted a tactical pen for when the need might be for more of a non-imposing defensive or survival (break auto glass) tool. This fits the bill as a really good choice that doesn't break the bank. I won't go on about the size as the pictures are easy to compare to a standard Cross pen. Great pen for my purposes. Reason for only 4 stars is I am going to see about longevity and durability. Time will tell.

I wish I had this pen years ago!! As a former first responder this is the perfect pen for firefighters, EMTs, police and more as it is highly durable and can withstand the elements. The tactical use of the pen makes it a versatile tool - not just a pen.These are awesome pens for personal use or even as small gifts. I get constant compliments and questions on the pen whenever I use it. And with Amazon Prime I got the pen in one day!

I bought this pen for my husband who preferred a bigger diameter pen. This pen is similar to one he previously had but misplaced, found and then broke after years of use.After reading reviews I wasn’t sure what material this pen actually was. Another reviewer said it had to be stainless steel or titanium.This pen is aluminum.This does not affect the actual quality or use of this pen.It also has a safety tip. That allows you a sharp edge to break windows of some sort if needed. We have not used this feature.As my husband and I love Black, this pen was appealing to me. But my husband likes it as well. I feel like that is a huge bonus. My husband said you can use the universal ink replacements, including those of which allow you to write and keep waterproof.Also, I was very pleased with the CEO of the company reaching out to ensure we received our package without any issue, involving damages and anything else that could go wrong during the delivery process.I’m very pleased.

Wow I really like this pen but I really need it because I work for UPS and sometimes you have to go into projects You could be dangerous sometimes but you might run into one person am I try to stick you up or Rob you so I looked into this into YouTube very light it's a pen and it's my last resort
