I have probably a dozen Window Garden Aquaphoric self-watering planters at this point. They may seem expensive, but are very worth it for plants you care about.The coco fiber soil is amazing for wicking up water from the reservoir and keeping the soil from saturating or compacting. The only quirk of this soil is that it has no real fertility, so some plants will need regular plant food right off the bat. That said, I have a small fiddle-leaf fig that put a foot of growth on this spring after being potted up into this soil (It's been fertilized maybe once with 1-1-1 plant food).The water indicator is pretty reliable (i.e., no "sticking"), corresponds well with soil moisture, and makes filling the pot a breeze.5/5, will buy again. :)

This is not a great watering system for plants because the roots are just sitting in water. This led to root rot for three of my pothos plants. I had to remove them and re-plant in under two weeks. I lost a lot of leaves. There are probably plants out there that need water more frequently. This system might work for them. But it was a no go for me.The assembly was fairly easy though.

I absolutely love these self watering pots. They are great for work plants that I cant water every day. Very easy to assemble and the mechanics are simple so you don't have to worry about it breaking.

Item is exactly as pictured although much smaller than pictured so pay attention to the size if you are looking for a much bigger size. The attached directions are easy to follow making this self-watering planter easy to assemble. I used this for my rose plant that requires moisture and quick watering. Hoping this works!

Absolutely a new favorite. It is all inclusive. It is the buffet of all planters. It is now the new home of my Fair winning African Violet. I am getting ready to order another one.

I love these planters. I have several colors now for each African Violet. Easy to care for with a great watering system and the plants are thriving in the planter straw.
