A Box of Ghost-filled Chocolates
What a fun and imaginative gem of a book this is! I really enjoyed how each little story is a perfectly contained vignette with its own flavor, like a box of spooky, ghost-filled chocolates. The illustrations are wonderful and gritty, further enhancing the narrative with their own well-conceived imagery that dovetails with the details of each vignette.I could easily see this being a fun way to share family and friend time around a bonfire, retelling these stories for a shiver or a laugh. In the last few days while I've been savoring these stories, I'm already noticing that my perception is more attuned to things in life that, just maybe, are places where the spirit world is bleeding over into the physical….

Such a great collection of original ghost stories ranging from the spine tingling to the Halloween humorous. Coupled with fantastic illustrations this book has become a great addition to the spookier side of our library.

Short, sweet and scary
I illustrated this book of flash fiction by Jeff Provine, The stories are clever and will tickle the horror story nerves of any fan of the genre. It was a lot of fun to illustrate all the variety of weirdness in Provine's head during the October month he decided to challenge himself with a daily short-short story.
