Philips MyKidsRoom Fairy Children's Ceiling Light Multi Colour (Includes 1 x 20 Watts E27 Bulb)

Hi This look looks fantastic now it’s up but firstly we had to repair the wings. Nothing that wasn’t easily solved with a little wood glue. Secondly, the fitting system of this light and other Philips kids lights are really poor. The required hook is never included and it’s not as secure as you would hope for quite heavy light fittings. We adapted a standard ceiling rose instead. Two small holes for the string of the plane to pass through was all that was required. We switched the bulb for a hue bulb and will 3D print a body and head to disguise it at a later date. I’m sure my son will love this when he’s a bit older.Also note, the plane received is different to that shown in the pictures and on the box. The shade of blue is really dark, there is no back wheel and there is no axial between the front wheels.

Product looks very nice, well made... However, the bulb comes with the warm light which is very poor... The blue color is really dark blue. Almost black, instead of the nice blue taht shows this picture, and the big BUT is that the bulb is upstairs the plane... So when light is on, the bottom half of the room is in shadow, and the ceiling is the only thing iluminated.... Shame, because we cannot use it as a lamp. Will have it as decoration, because my son loves it. But not really useful as a lamp :(((

Really love this in my little boys room. It is sturdy and well made. Only issue is it does not come with the fixing needed to attach it to the ceiling. This isn't too much of a problem as we bought the fixing for a couple of pounds at a local diy shop but it would have been nice to have had it included.

Really lovely light fitting. Easy to fit and looks great however ive only given 3 stars as the bulb does not fit flush to the fitting like shown in the picture and the bulb is FAR too bright. Im having real difficulty finding a replacement bulb that is the same size to achieve the same look as a standard screw in bulb won't have the same effect

Perfect for space themed room. It gives quite a lot of light but starts quite slow...after about 5-10 mins it gives the brightest light. Also good that the light bulb comes with the lamp.

Very flimsy rocket fin broke while installing (with care) the whole fin attaches with one tiny plastic hook(see attached pic) tried contacting seller to no avail.

Brilliant light. Very easy to install if you are semi competent in DIY. Looks great. Replaced the light that can with the light fitting with an LED one as didn't want a not very energy efficient light bulb. All in all very pleased.

I love the light fitting, perfect for my little boys room. It did arrive broken though. All but two of the pieces thet hold the wings together had become detached. I considered sending it back but I had some wood glue handy so stuck it all back together. I think it was a manufacturing defect rather than broken in transit. Figured if I glued it myself I know it's done to a certain standard.
