Great Purchase
This was exactly what I needed! It fits perfectly on the end of my craft table. I’ve been using daily it for a few weeks now, and I’m very happy with my purchase. Previously, I had an old ironing board set up, but it was always in the way, and a bit of an eyesore.Other reviewers noted a strong smell when they first opened it. I did not have that experience. If you are limited on space, or just don’t want to have an ironing board set up all the time, I highly recommend this mat!

I'm making my first quilt and I used this to iron my fat quarters before cutting
It is the first time using a product like this and I must say it really came in handy. It was much easier to press all my fat quarters before cutting. I love the thickness of the mat and its easier to use than my ironing board where I must pass over it several times to get the crispness I want in my material. I recommend this product.

Minimize time ironing with the Wool Pressing Mat
I bought my pressing mat a few weeks ago but didn’t have a chance to use it until recently. It came securely packaged in a big box. It’s on my ironing table and it’s a dream to use. I think I’m spending less time ironing my quilt blocks. They come out crisp with one pass of the iron. No need to keep going over the block which helps minimize distortion . And with the big size of the mat, I can iron several blocks at once. I love the Wool Pressing Mat and highly recommend it.

It is a good product.
The mat had a small odor when I unwrapped it, but it went away with some open air and time. The fabric wrinkles came out much quicker and with little work. However I use the Oliso iron and it left a small yellow stain or maybe burn on the mat, I'll have to wait and see if it gets any worse. All in all I like it and would recommend it to my quilting friends.

Great mat for ironing quilt blocks
Luv this wool pressing mat. My quilt blocks come out so nice n flat. Its perfectI got the 17"x24" size...fits perfect on the end of my sewing table. I dry iron most of the time....so i dont notice any smell. When i did use steam it just smelled like wet wool.Shipping was fast n it was packed perfectly.

What a great product!
Very happy with the wool ironing mat. Quality is very good, nice and thick. I was hesitant at first, wool mat for ironing??, but I am very pleased. I have a big board but sometimes I work on something that has a lot of pressing between steps so having this one makes it very convenient I'm thinking about getting one smaller for taking to my sewing group.

Pressing Quilt pieces to perfection
This item delivers what it promised. Ironing my quilt pieces really helped to get the seams crisp. No need to iron on one side then flip the piece over to make sure you've iron it as straight as possible. The wool mat holds the piece in place and it doesn't slide around. I wish my entire ironing board was covered in this so my general ironing would be as easy!
