The LEGO Christmas Ornaments Book, Volume 2: 16 Designs to Spread Holiday Cheer!

The book is great, well written, good instructions. I thought it would be so fun to build these ornaments with three boys in the house. We have tons and I do mean tons of Legos, but did not have the pieces needed to build a single ornament. So disappointing.

This hardback book contains directions for 16 different Lego Christmas Tree ornament projects. The preface states that the reader should feel free to substitute colors and some shapes in the making of these various Christmas Tree ornament projects. If you had enough Lego pieces and the time, you could decorate your entire Christmas Tree with these 16 different Christmas Tree ornaments. That would be truly unique and would be a real conversation piece over the Christmas holidays. There is lots of fun to be found for the Lego lover in the pages of this book. My only concern is that many children will not have enough of the particular Lego pieces to complete these designs. However, some improvising, ingenuity and creativity may result in some really neat Christmas tree ornaments. This book is volume 2. I have not found Volume 1, but it may be worthwhile trying to get volume 1 also. If you love to play with Legos and you have a healthy supply of Lego pieces, I would heartily recommend this book.

Got both the books in this series and love them. Enjoy the pictures and instructions. Def plan to make ornaments throughout the year for giving at Xmas and then you know maybe some designs for everyday use too. I do wish the author would sell kits - I’d pay to not have to order all the parts from LEGO myself. I could use existing LEGOs but of course, more legos is always better than less.

This is a darling book, filled with step-by-step instructions. Even though we have bins of Legos, we ended up special ordering the exact bricks from Lego.com. Bought book and enough special pieces to make to make a few complete ornaments. Kids can get inspiration from the book to make their own creations after that.

Spent quite a bit of time on the Lego website and couldn't find all the parts to build NOT ONE ornament. Uses discontinued pieces.

It’s a great book, to enjoy time with family sharing a common passion, LEGOSSS.Totally recommended and pieces can be bought separately in tons of different stores.

Lego parts are not available even to order if you need and we have many lego’s. Even stores did not have.

I went to BrickLink to look for the pieces for some of the ornaments. I just had to type in the part number and they came up. I am soo excited get building on some of these ornaments.

I bought this book for my husband as Christmas gift and he loved it. From now on, we will have the tradition to build Christmas ornament from this book every Christmas for our tree.

Lovely decorations, lots of possible adapations

Ein tolles Buch mit schönen Lego Kreationen zum Thema Weihnachten. Der Autor ist ein begnadeter Designer und nicht umsonst von Lego als Creator Expert eingestellt worden. Ich kann auch das Vorgängerbuch sehr empfehlen.
