Working good for 2 weeks since start up. Updated nov2022
So far working good. I have it set up to run half of the 5th wheel RV.It’s heavy and adding batteries be a lot more I have 4 agn marine at this point. The option display should be bigger so easier to read. Doesn’t give best battery life rather have percentage. So far all good with all the loads and there are 3 electric heatersUpdate nov 2022Using it in 5th wheel living in it full time since installed. It's worked great have had multiple power outages and has kicked on without shutting the TV down.I did have something weird go on today we had first snow fall and power went out multiple times.I have the remote switch and display on this into RV.Today it failed to switch on not sure why went out unplugged the remote and turned on inverter and it went on...after awhile I hooked the remote up again and it operated normal...not sure what went on.I cannot run air fryer and microwave same time throws the inverter breaker switch but for the most part still going good.

Unit failed in less then a year.
Purchased this unit to be the inverter/charger solution for a solar based emergency backup power source for hurricane season. Unit was always kept indoors, unit always had trouble charging and would not always disconnect when the battery bank was full. After some tweaking it got better, but never quite performed the way I wanted it to with no real configuration options beyond the very primitive dip switches and no remote or long term monitoring solutions to alert remotely when there is a problem. After less then a year this unit failed because the fan at the top of the unit separated from the hub and fell into the unit. The unit then over heated and stopped working. Took AIMs Support almost a month to get back to me because the RMA form on their website doesn't work right and they won't follow up with emails when advised there is a problem. Unit is hard down and now told no way to expedite a unit unless procuring a new one, and that the RMA process will take at least 15 days not counting shipping. My opinion on this unit is that while it is at a good price point, the very primitive control and monitoring solutions and not so great tech support make this brand and unit not viable for larger scale whole home solutions where dependability, serviceability, or long term durability is a concern. If your looking for a inverter/charger solution spend a little bit more and get one of the major brands or be like me and buy this and then end up having to buy the more expensive unit anyway a year down the road when it all goes bang.

This product is extremely heavy.
Product works great Had a previous one but it wasnt ETL certified. This one works amazing a must have when storms take power out. We use solar panels with it to charge the batteries and when cloady the inverter charger charges the batteries. You can also turn the charger off and it will automatically switch to grid when cloudy and back to batteries when they finish charging.

Driving me nuts... read all of the review.
Just installed today. Will update if there are any problems.Other than the weight, which this thing weighs as much as my 11 year old, it was rather easy to install. Just make sure you have it on the proper battery setting. My batteries are AGM 1, and I had to learn that as the voltage was going up. I had to double check, and I had accidentally put it on the wrong setting.Update: the plastic "screw" used to adjust the charge current broke while I tried to put it at 50%. The head of it snapped off. I do not even know if I was able to adjust the charge output, but my battery voltage is doing fine. Regardless, a normal dial would be more preferable than a plastic screw in which you need a screwdriver.Update: It has almost been a month, and other than the plastic screw snapping off, I am mostly happy. The only other complaint I have is that this thing and my generator sometimes do not agree on power output. My generator will be on, and sound like it is running fine, but due to this nearly $2,000 inverter not having any interface other than some blinking lights, a plastic screw that snapped with almost no force, or dip switches that are nearly as fragile, I did not know what is going on. After going outside after 5 minutes of it I adjusted the choke on the generator making it run more smoothly. It doesn't like power input to stall, or even falter a bit. Granted we are using a POS generator, but still annoying.30 Nov 2021. I do not know if I am going to smash this inverter, or my generator. The inverter will not stop blaring the "charge" function On/Off, each time you hear a switch flick on internally, and then it blares. My generator in this Alaskan climate has a slight hic-up as it warms up, and the inverter will not STOP kicking the charge function on/off. I wish I had a honda, verses this Polsar. If you have a good generator, there should be no issues, bit if you do not, the above will happen.July 2022: 2 weeks after getting an inverter generator there has been no issues with the generator giving us a fit when charging the batteries. Almost like there never was an issue to begin with. Whatever you do if you get one of these: use an inverter generator, otherwise it might give you trouble as well.13 October 2022. I upgraded our AGM batteries to Lithium, and was glad that this blue prune would charge them... it won't stop charging them. Not at all! Twice, on a sunny day, with me running a heavy load, I decided to run the generator to keep the batteries topped off. This thing had them charged to 30v. My solar charge controllers had switched off, but this thing refuses to. You have to manually stop it from charging! If you use lithium batteries, get a different inverter charger. Works wonders otherwise.6 Nov 2022: was watching it closely because it was plugged into the generator so my daughter could run the microwave for a few minutes. The batteries where at 26.4V before the generator was turned on, and after 3 minutes, it suddenly shot up from 27.1V to 34V! This thing cannot be trusted with Lithium batteries. Get a different inverter if you want to ever run Lithium. With the plastic dial broke, I do not even know how much it is charging them at. My Victron solar charge controlers might exceed 28.4V for a second at most, the majority of the time stopping at 28.2v or 28.3V outright.

Very nice , I like it.
the directions are very vague , they tell you how not to put water on it , dont put the in's to the out's.a lot of needless warnings . but dont tell much about the breakers on the back , their are 2 green wires hanging out the back that they dont even mention or show in the book. But the thing works great , and have no problems with it . only running for a week so far .

Worked for one year!
It says 4000 W inverter, And stopped working after less than one year with 2000 W pulling. Consistently only pulling like 3 or 400 W, Yesterday after less than a year just died, From no fault of my own I am sure.

Don't waste your money on the other cheap CRAP!
First I went the route of the cheap CRAP like Power Jack. It had all kind of nice features to bad it was the worst lying JUNK. Don't be fooled like I was, buy something like this that is real quality and is the only inverter in this price range that is UL rated! Do it right the first time.
