excellent quality
i got this for a external dvdrw drive which unfortunately turned out the manufacturer lied (dvd drive) which usb version it used i will be keeping this for a external hdd/ssd enclosure as a spare cable it does feel of excellent quality

Poorly made.
Garbage item. Mini B end would not stay 'engaged' with the Canon 80D camera. Threw this in the trash and bought a new one from another manufacture.

Rare cable
Most people do not have a need for this cable. It's a Mini-B cable with the USB 3 spec. Most everything Mini-B is usually USB 2.0 with only 4 pins. The pin layout on this cable has 5 pins on the upper and lower. This will not fit and won't work with USB2 Mini-B sockets.

Didnt work
I bought this for a device that requires a 10-pin usb cable, for whatever reason it didn't work as I get the same problem as a 5 pin adapter. It might work for your device or needs but I did not work for me.

Working 10 Pin Mini USB
Bought this to use on my Venture Body Camera after losing the original cable. Took over a month to arrive but was worth the wait! Works like charm

Piece of garbage
Dont waste your money on this piece of junk. It doesnt fit into the USB port and it broke trying to insert it. Cheaply made and incorrectly sized. Waste of money and time. Pass up on this item and look else where. Very disappointed.

If Sturdy Cables Are a Must, Look No Further
I do like the construction of this well-shielded cable. Understand though, these due to their construction are very stiff and don't move much around corners.

No Data Transfer
I bought this cable for a friend who was trying to connect a Canon ELPH camera to a MacAir laptop that's a few years old. She said that the plugs seemed to fit, but -- the computer refused to recognize the camera. Well, at least this cord only cost $6...
