StratcoLG-18424 Raised Garden Bed, Metal, Slate Gray

Over the past year I’ve bought 4 of these raised beds (2 from Amazon, 2 from big box store). They’re sturdy, but remain lightweight making them easy to place and adjust. Keep in mind the are just frames - no bottoms. We lined ours with a couple of pieces of weed blocker before filling with soil. We’re growing tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers and green beans in them. So far, so good! They’d also be good for growing a cut flower garden.

Easy to put together, I did it by myself, but would’ve been easier with two people. Attractive and hold quite a bit of veggies. I purchased 2 of these and I’m glad I did. My backyard is quite shady, but I have a small space with sun most of the day. These fit perfectly.

These will work well but they bend very easily so I’m sure they won’t look nice for very long. They dented just from getting bumped by bags of dirt.they look nice and are deep which is great. Very easy to assemble and the end caps are a nice touch.

The packaged arrived quickly, unfortunately the nuts and bolts needed for construction were missing . A replacement was sent right away with the needed materials.

Very easy to put together. The hardest part of assembly is tightening the screws/wingnuts (and there are a lot of them!), but that's just because the angle's a bit awkward and it's pretty tedious. There are small gaps where the sides go into the cornering piece that dirt will come out of when you first put it together and during the first few waterings. Thought that was an issue but once the dirt settled it stopped happening and I realized that they serve as drainage.

I returned this because the corner caps, corners and nut and bolts were all missing. The 4 sides were all that were in the box. The box was torn and obviously had been taped back together. Hard to believe this was shipped out in that condition. Don't recommend buying this if that's the shape it's in.

Easy to assemble if I had all the parts to actually to put it together. I edited my comment because I was thinking it was the 1st one I bought and I reviewed that one. I won't send it back because it's not worth the hassle. I tried contacting the company but can't find a way. I was going to buy one more but I may not now.

I'm learning to be more mechanically inclined so this item was perfect for me. So glad I didn't have to worry about measuring 2 x 4's and using nails and such. All I needed to do this job was pliers and a Phillips. Beautiful and easy to move around (before you put the dirt in, of course).
