Excellent quality charge port. Two things when replacing this port in an iPhone 7 plus:1) Don’t try to remove the logic board at the top. Instead, just lift the logic board up at the bottom, and peel the port connector out from under it. When sliding the new one in, make sure the connector is lined up with the logic board.2) Using a razor or xacto, transfer the tiny black stickers on the microphones from the old port to the new microphones for the new mics to stick & seal.

Here is my story. My mic stopped working and I bought a replacement like this FROM A DIFFERENT SELLER. I just picked the first one "suggested" by Amazon... BTW it had 4 stars overall rating. But I got a very unpleasant surprise when I finished installation... The charging port was not working and the home button stopped being responsive. So, it didn't fix the mic problem and I got two new problems... I spent almost 2 hours installing that hardware replacement because I was doing it for the first time and after all, it just made it worst... I was literally devastated.But then I decided to give another try but now I spent more time reading reviews and ended up buying this product. The first thing that I would like to mention I liked the quality of the product and I couldn't wait to install it. Long story short, it fixed my problem with a charging port which I got after replacing the original hardware with the one I got from another seller. And it also fixed the home button too! It didn't fix the mic problem though. But later I found that it was an IC chip problem. But that's a different story. ;)So, here is my conclusion about this product: Definitely RECOMMENDED.

I purchased this back in January 2023, just got around to installing Aug 23. Three hrs of work taking of old one and putting in this new one. I noticed the connector to the mother board did not seat smoothly. Finished the install and no charging and home button not working properly. Installed original back on (another 2.5 hrs) and everything worked as it was before, except I'm back to original problem w my old one of glitchy charging but at least it recognizes the usb cable and i got back my home button. To bad I'm outside the return timeline or i'd return this. I'm guessing other manufacturers may not have this motherboard connector issue so may try again w another seller.

First of all, I am not a professional installer and my issues could have been due to my installation. Just an over-confident do it yourselfer. For anyone that hasnt changed this part out, let me tell you it is difficult. Its pretty much the very last part you take off the phone. I put the new one in and after resinstalling all the parts that go on top of it, it would not plug in properly to the motherboard. I think I was off a smidge when I stuck this part to the phone. It was barely noticable, but would not plug in. With that said, even after I removed the part so I could properly connect it, it still didnt work. I cant say if the part was defective or I damaged it. I was able to get the original piece working. It was a loose connection at motherboard that was my problem all along.9/29 update:The seller contacted me because of my review to make it right. They offered to refund or replace the defective part. I opted for refund and it was there the next day.

Installation was a little time consuming. Though it was my first time working on an IPhone. But the part works perfectly. Solved the issue of unreliable charging and poor signal. Upgraded the battery at the same time and the phone works better than ever!

I am a certified phone repair technician and this part is A++ quality! Very easy to install with the knowledge of Phone Repair. It works amazing.

Everything was fine after installing. Worked great for about a week. Then out of nowhere the lighting USB port stopped registering a charger when it was plugged in. Had to take my phone in and they said the aftermarket piece had burnt out. Could have saved myself the money and time of using this and just getting the phone fixed.

This product came in very fast and was easy to install, just as long as you know what you’re doing. I suggest looking up a tutorial on YouTube on how to replace this part if you don’t know as that helped me a ton. Good product, it worked and fixed my charging problem.

J’ai installé cette pièce et mon iPhone ne se recharge plus. Trop cher comparé à d’autres sites! Venu dans un emballage simple en plastique sans protection. Je déconseille fortement.
