If there was a way to return this c*%# I'd do it. For $2.99 this is a bunch of bs taken from the Internet with NO drawing guide whatsoever. What is in the "book, and I kid you not, are 1-page chapters of what is drawing, why drawing is important, why you should draw, the idea behind drawing.... With no actual drawing instructions at all. I hope you read this review before wasting $2.99 that you can spend on ice-creamor coffee.

I bought this on the strength of the positive reviews - wish I'd paid more attention to the negative ones. But shame on me. What was I expecting for $2.99, and if it was only published on Kindle, why didn't that raise a flag for me?The suggestion from the book that I found most useful, was to find other people's drawings that interested me and then to copy them, and to be persistent and patient. But this would be good advice for teaching anything - just copy someone else's golf swing, tennis serve or singing. Right? True the book does describe a good attitude for someone starting to draw. One should be motivated and be clear why they want to draw in the first place, one should draw regularly, one should try to memorize the subject one wants to draw, one should practice, practice, practice.Good. But what I had hoped for was some encouragement, what steps to follow to draw (for instance) a face - how to do eyes, the nose etc. This has always eluded me. Being told to copy how someone else does it is pedestrian advice. It doesn't speak to where do you start, and from there, how to build a face up. Looking at someone else's finished product doesn't help with this.

This book appears to be a book about all aspects of drawing: Drawing for Beginners.The subtitle is The Ultimate Guide for Drawing, Sketching,How to Draw Cool Stuff, Pencil Drawing Book (Drawing, Learn How to Draw Cool Stuff.It has no table of contents, so when I looked at the preview and saw only a few pages on learning how to draw a head, I thought there would be more stuff later. No. But the entire book is about drawing the head. That's it.I returned it.

I have to admit that I'm worse when it comes to drawing. I've always scraped through most of my drawing exams. When I bought this book I wasn't honestly expecting much.But I have to say that I was truly amazed how in a simple ways and by using proper formulaic sketching, one can accurately draw the most complex of drawings -- the human portrait.I'm sure that with consistent practice, I'll be able to be a better artist in a few months' time, if not within a few weeks.I recommend this book to anyone -- amateurs as well as professionals -- to take their craft to the next level

This pamphlet contains really good advice on learning how to draw for beginners. It sets you up with basic skill practices for learning proper check me and goes further into teaching about how to draw from memory. However if you are looking for an actual book and not a 15 page cliff note, I would recommend you search a little deeper perhaps visit a Book Store. Or offer to review in order to get some more insight as to whether or not you would enjoy the results achieved from a particular book on drawing technique.

I can’t draw for the life of me, so this was very helpful. Provided some excellent pointers so I can start learning the skill. I enjoyed reading a lot and I kid you not, I just spent the last two hours putting the techniques that the author taught me to the test. Pretty satisfied with how the character I was trying to copy from a comic book turned out. Ask anyone who knows me - if I was able to draw anything other than a crooked line, then that is good, solid proof this guide is the real deal!

I have always loved drawing ever since I was a kid. Back then, I always draw whenever I get the chance, but when things got too busy, I had to stop and just focus on what I was doing. Now, that I have more time to spare, I want to rekindle this passion. So, I started out reading books such as this. This book provides nice points for beginners. Everything is explained quite simply, but the only comment I have is that, it should have more illustrations, being it is an ultimate guide for drawing and sketching. Other than that, the information will be useful.

My drawing skills weren't really good, but after using this book, I can draw much better now. This book taught me how to draw some really cool stuff so far. Easy to read, concise, and full of fantastic examples for you to try, this book is a sure-fire pathway to drawing success. I liked how the book had good instructions and provided examples along the way throughout the different steps. A complete guide for beginners. Huge thanks to the author.

This is for all you people out there and me that want to put pencil to paper and draw. I did it for a few years after leaving school, but over time I have lost my inspiration so I thought I would get this e-book and start from scratch. Chapter one tells you the idea behind drawing and the skills required when you want to draw. It tell you about the tree ways of drawing - observational, memory and imagination. He explains briefly but concisely and his choice of words do not make you feel inferior and that you will never be able to draw. It is a great tool to have so download it now and express yourself through art. I received this e-book free for an honest review.

Great book-worth checking out as gives both a focus point towards drawing but also the confidence to draw more things

Kindle edition is subset of the whole book, which is not made clear before purchased. Content is good, but what you get is not the product as presented. Poor experience
